Message to Young People Summary
With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon–coming Saviour might
be carried to the whole world! How soon might the end come,––the end of suffering and sorrow and sin! How soon, in place of a possession here, with
its blight of sin and pain, our children might receive their inheritance where "the righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever"; where "the
inhabitant shall not say, I am sick," and "the voice of weeping shall be no more heard."––"Counsels to Teachers, Parents, and Students," p. 555 .
Ellen G. White wrote this book many years ago, but it still applies to our young people today. It would not hurt for our older people to read and...show

Satan comes to man with his temptations as an angel of light, as he came to Christ. He has been working to bring man into a condition of physical and
moral weakness, that he may overcome him with his temptations, and then triumph over his ruin. ...He well knows that it is impossible for man to
discharge his obligations to God and to his fellow–men, while he impairs the faculties God has given him. The brain is the capital of the body... pg. 236
Many youth receive the impression that their early life is not designed for care–taking, but to be frittered away in idle sport, in jesting, in joking, and in
foolish indulgences. While engaged in folly and indulgences of the senses, some think of nothing but the momentary gratification connected with it.
Their desire for amusement, their love for society and for chatting and laughing, increases by indulgence, and they lose all relish for the sober realities
of life, and home duties seem uninteresting. There is not enough change to meet their minds, and they become restless, peevish, and irritable. These
young men should feel it a duty to make home happy and cheerful. . . . pg. 339

My Thoughts On Writing And Writing
Just like the writing I am forcing from my thoughts right now, writing in general is a difficult process for me to transfer from my mind to paper. I
have found that when I write I tend to be very repetitive by saying the same thing in a different way over and over. I believe that my repetition is
derived from trying to be too complex in the development of how I write. Some additional problems I come across in developing my rhetoric are
concentrating; as my focus can be easily drawn away from the current topic at hand. I believe that it may be a short intention span or maybe even lack
of understanding toward a certain topic such as the current one about writing developments. I struggle with my ability to form complete thoughts
without jumping topics or merging each thought into one another. In retrospect to the problems I have come to face with my writing I do have many
things I enjoy about writing. Writing to me is a way to be descriptive and creative with my own thoughts depending upon the style of course, but for
the most part it is intriguing because everything that I will do in life will require me to have some set of writing skills. With the following in mind my
essay writing process is developed from these aspects. My writing process will start by forming ideas in my head. Usually I don't like to write these
ideas and thoughts down because I don't feel they are very developed therefore not worth the time it would take to plan them out on paper. This is
especially true

Best Ways To Study Essay
Three Best Ways to Study For many students studying for an exam or a test can be very stressful. For a lot of them studying is very hard because
sometimes most of the materials they study, they don't remember on the actual test or exam. However there are more than one way to study and most
theses studying methods can be very helpful and very reliable. A Lot of students tend to cram all the studying two or the night before the test and
according to UCLA professor of psychiatry Andrew J. Fuligni (2012) cramming and trying to get as much information in your head two or a night
before the test is very counterproductive. How to study properly Although there are many ways and methods of studying whether it be scientific or a
family belief ,...show more content...
A second method of studying is by studying in an appropriate setting (Chadron State College). Studying in an environment where distraction is very
easy to find is very difficult. Studying in a quiet setting with a lot of space away from distraction can help you study and can help memory
performance. With this setting it's also helpful to be consistent with the studying, studying at the same time and same place is very effective especially
when this is done 2 –3 weeks prior to the test quiz or exam. With the proper setting, proper setting is also necessary. " Your study desk or table should
be equipped with all the materials you might need to complete the assignment, e.g., pencils, pens, erasers, paper clips, stapler, dictionary, snacks, and
liquid refreshments, etc." – Chadron State College. Adding items that can help you study and removing things that might distract is also need for
effective studying. The third and final method of studying that is effective is studying while listening to music. According to Goodwin (2015),
studying with music before a test can improve attention and can help lessen depression and anxiety. The "Mozart effect" is known to be helpful but of
course today the effects will be very different since students don't tend to listen to Mozart. The type of music played also plays a pig role of studying.
Studying with music that has lyrics is not recommended

Essay Good Money Management
Money is something that encases our whole lives. We all know this yet many of us fall into the traps of debt and overspending without even knowing
it. The feeling of never having enough money or living paycheck to paycheck can lead to serious finical troubles that can and easily will carry over
into a lifetime of financial struggles. Good money management and good money habits are the same way. Those skills can make a life of financial
ease or struggle. All it depends on the skills one develops now as a teen. Money management is not a completely restrictive thing. Many of the skills
learned can be use to help friends and family struggling with money. It all starts with clearly seeing the problem. From here the problems can be

One major flaw in this system is how big and spanned out this loan is. For a lot of teens with loans they want small amounts to make payments on.
These can range from $50 to $100 dollars a month. The problem is a loan with payments of "$50 dollars a week takes almost 5 years to pay off".
(Junior 3) This long term loan brings in long term interest. Interest is the rate at which people pay the bank for using their money. This amount of
interest paid to the bank adds on to the amount of money you had originally taken out. Many people, adults too, fail to take this into consideration
when they take out a loan or spend with a credit cards. Credit cards work the same way as a loan just on a smaller scale. These two factors can lead to
large debt issues for teens and adults. Debt issues that can and will follow them for a long time along after, making it hard to get out of. Seeing the
problem of debt and over spending can be overwhelming. There are solutions.
Big things have little beginnings. The first real step towards a sound financial life is getting out of any debt. This can be done by focusing in and
paying off friends or talking to a bank and making loan payments larger so less interest is paid. Once debt free the next place to go is back to the
bank. Start a savings plan. Just $50 dollars a month grows to $3,333 in 5 years. That is an amazing amount of money to have as a teen and allows so
much more flexibility when it comes to financial decisions and purchases.

A Short Term And Long Term Goals
As life moves forward, your goals will inevitably change and your definition of success and happiness changes with them. It may be time to take a
look at your goals and redefine them for a happy ending. Ask yourself what you want to accomplish. Most people envision a far–off future where
they're doing exactly what they want, have what they want, and live the way they want. It's all kind of fuzzy, with vague notions of future happiness
hinging on retirement in a sunny place where it never rains. The reality is that about 80 percent of people don't have a clue as to what their long–term
aspirations are. And that's a shame because we need to have goals to reach for. They help to identify what it is we want and how we're going to get
there. They bring that fuzzy notion of a far–off happy future into sharp focus. Goals can be divided into short–term and long–term objectives. A
short–term goal is something you want to accomplish in the near future, such as planting a garden next week, or buying a new car before the end of
the year. A long–term goal is for further down the road like graduating from college, or saving for that sunny retirement you long for. They require more
time and planning than a short–term goal and can be difficult to set. Here are a few tips to help make it easier for you to set or readjust your
objectives. Take a moment to think about what you want to achieve or change in your long–term agenda. Visualize where you want to be in five years,

Essay about Germany
Germany is the fourth largest country in area in
Europe, with a total area of 356,970 square
kilometers (137,827 square miles). The country has
a varied terrain that ranges from low–lying coastal
flats along the North and Baltic seas, to a central
area of rolling hills and river valleys, to heavily
forested mountains and snow–covered Alps in the
south. Germany has a long, complex history and rich
culture, but it did not become a unified nation until
1871. Before that time, Germany had been a
confederacy (1815–1867).
The country has a total of 82,071,765 people (1997

Stretching from the Baltic and North seas to the Alps,
Germany measures about 800 kilometers (about 500
miles) from north to south; the country extends about
600 km (about 400 miles) from west to east. In
addition to coastline and mountains, the varied
terrain includes forests, hills, plains, and river valleys.
Several navigable rivers traverse the uplands, and
canals connect the river systems of the Elbe, Rhine,
and Danube rivers and link the North Sea with the
Baltic.
Germany has a mostly moderate climate,
characterized by cool winters and warm summers.
River valleys, such the Rhine, tend to be humid and
somewhat warmer in both winter and summer,
whereas mountain areas can be much colder.
Precipitation on the average is much heavier in the
south, especially along the Alpine slopes, which force
incoming weather fronts to rise and let off moisture in
the form of rain and snow.
Germany does not have large pockets of poverty or
great economic disparity. Crime levels are
substantially lower than those in the United States,
and the possession of guns is controlled. However,
there are substantial numbers of homeless people
and problems of violence, alcoholism, and drug
abuse. Nonviolent crimes, such as theft and burglary
in urban areas, have increased since the 1970s.

The company's creams inventory remains constant because it does not follow a trend in innovation and changes so often as the other products. The
surplus in inventory is a big disadvantage since; last year's products may not be in style this year in addition to the cost of storage. For all these
reasons their cash flow is less in comparison with previous years causing that Luxor Cosmetics keeps increasing their bank loans, creating more debt,
making it harder to pay out as 2011. In this particular situation the company could have either decrease its budgeted sales (productions) or increase its
actual sales by improving more effective marketing strategy and research and development of its products in the markets. This way their inventory
would decrease and their cash flow would increase. (Hopkins, 2009)
Further, through effective marketing strategy Luxor

Essay on Original Writing: Short Story
Original Writing: Short Story
It was the night of the year that few children can sleep. The night when everyone hopes that snow will fall and they will wake up to a garden of
glistening diamonds grown by the morning sun. It was Christmas Eve.
As many had hoped, snow was falling. It slowly covered the houses and streets in a thick blanket. The moon shone her silver light down on the
white world, and but for one, there was nobody to view the kind of beauty that things such as love and dreams are made of. The only one there to see
the spectacle was a small boy of five, or six years.
This little boy possessed a beauty not of this earth, a beauty that surpassed even all that surrounded him. His...show more content...
On the night that every other child wished for toys, and puppies, this little boy wished for love. And nothing more.
Finally, the little boy came to a stop, not wanting to ever take another step again. He raised his downcast eyes, and in front of him stood a church.
He remembered that he had been to church before, and the building that loomed above him stirred vague memories. The boy made himself stumble
a few more steps, and pressed his face to the glass door he had arrived at. He looked in, and saw the church was lit up inside. There was light coming
from behind a man on a big cross, and two huge Christmas trees shone in heavenly splendor. Looking at the man on the cross, he had a faint
recollection. He half–remembered, a long time ago, that someone reading from a big book had said that the man on the cross would come on
Christmas. That he came every Christmas.
The little boy supposed that if anyone would help him, it would be the man inside. He loved everyone. So, the little boy laid down in front of the
church, and as he slipped off into sleep, a glimmer of hope, that the man would come and save him from the cold and loneliness, warmed his heart.
The snow continued to fall, and bells jingled far in the distance. Presents were laid under trees, and visions of sugar plums danced in most children's
heads. But not the little boy who slept on the church steps under the winter

Essay About My English Class
I can remember seeing that I had to take an English class my first semester of college. I was already overwhelmed with starting college, and having
to write college essays made me get even more nervous. I sat down with my mom and decided to look at the English classes available, and I finally
decided that I had to take an evening class to make it work in my schedule. The first day of English came and now looking back it was not as bad as I
thought. It made me a better writer and be where I am today. It may have taken me some time to get where I am today, but at least I am on the right
track. English Composition helped me realize that I am my own author and have strengths that I did not realize I had. When I first started college I did
not know what to expect with an English class. I liked writing about topics that interested me, but high school did not allow me to do that. I took

me that I am an author when I did not think I was. He also told us to read our essays out loud when we proofread, and I always did this technique
before submitting all my essays. I can remember having to write my first essay and I was scared, because I felt like I had to get a good grade. I
started thinking about what tools I could use to help me, and I decided to go to The Learning Center to help with my essay. When I went there they
would make edits to my essay and then explain what I should change. The tutor noticed I used multiple choppy sentences and commas in spots there
should not be. Sometimes I would even go twice to make sure I did not miss any minor mistakes. Going there helped me feel more confident as a
writer and I learned from my mistakes. I had many helpful techniques from multiple people that shaped me into the writer I am

LEADERSHIP HISTORY Contingency Theories (CT)

CT interpret effective leadership as affected by situational variables, including the followers, work environment and tasks, and the external
environment (Daft, 2005, p.111). CT includes Fiedler's proposal of predominance and interaction between relationship or taskoriented leadership
styles, as well as Hersey and Blanchard's focus on the characteristics of followers as producing favorable or unfavorable results, followed by the
path–goal theory, Vroom Jago model, and substitutes–for–leadership approaches. If the leader understands how to properly interrelate with situational
variables, the possibilities for success would be maximized. Influence Theories Leaders are challenged to persuade followers effectively integrating
power and influence. Followers should be motivated, shaped and guided through Charismatic Leadership, "influence based...on the qualities and
personality of the leader." (Daft, 2005, p.24). Bolman and Terrence (1991) identify four Leader worldviews that influence this approach: Structural,

Writing is way that we can express ourselves, it is a way to interface ideas and thoughts and to prove a point. Throughout my writing experience or
process I have struggled with writing especially using details or really expressing myself my work. In this course Facts & Fiction: Portraits in World
Art I expect to gain more knowledge on how to write a perfect essay, story, letter, and assignment. I expect to learn new genres and rhetorical
situations. I also think my writing will improve academically and I will develop my skills in writing. Also taking my writing to a different point of
view, level, and writing something different rather than the usual. I look forward to getting feedback from my peers and learning their thoughts on my
writing and how they can help me improve.
Reading and writing were two things my parents use to always push me to improve and work on more often. They always told me they are the
essentials of everything thing. Even though I disliked both at a young age as I grew older I preferred writing because I can always change the
way I write and write from my point of view, really be creative with it and prove my point. Growing up I always loved writing short stories
especially scary stories. I always was creative with them and even made them realistic. To write an essay I usually have a couple of steps writing an
outline, and the thesis a draft and finally a final draft. The most difficult part about this is writing the thesis because the whole essay revolves the
thesis because it summarizes the whole essay. At the end of some essays, I had to use citations to do that there were many websites that helped me
cite sources such as easybib which was a really simple process. So, citing sources was one of the easiest things about writing the essay.
Writing to a teacher is way more complex then writing to a fried or a family member. Writing to a teacher is way more complex, I must make sure
that everything is on point or it reaches the state of protection. Which is having the right format, a great thesis and really conveying the point of the
essay. Writing to a friend or a family member is much easier I usually don't focus on grammatic errors or writing a perfect thesis. Today some of us don't

Reflection Of A Short Story
I enjoy writing short stories because the activity allows me to express my creativity and speak my mind. However, I often have trouble finishing
compositions, and my English professors will often tell me I need to improve my work. Recently, I wrote a short story titled "Unexpected" for a
fiction–writing class and made countless changes to the tale based on several guidelines. The revisions to "Unexpected" have benefited my story, but
I could have done more to improve it. My original story served as an impromptu launching pad for the revisions, which expanded my work into a
more stable, detailed narrative. However, I probably should have asked for help from tutors and my fiction professor, Jackie because they understand

But three methods of revisions helped me better understand the changes I made to my narrative. First, I printed my original work and jotted down
revisions based on 25 questions from a book I study in fiction class, What If? Writing Exercises for Fiction Writers. These notes helped me add a
wide variety of details to my story. Next, I typed my new story and used a grammar check website called PaperRater to improve the style of my
tale. This aspect includes, of course, grammar, but also transitional phrases (I am not sure if those are important in a short story) as well as
vocabulary. And eventually, I tweaked my composition after carefully reading my story to myself. I learned that reading your own work aloud helps
you further comprehend any revisions you should make. As a result of following these revision guidelines, I improved my story dramatically; it more
than tripled the word count of my story to about one thousand words. Furthermore, I usually only use PaperRater for revising fiction and nonfiction
works I write for English classes. My new technique of modifying my narratives have truly expanded my stories as well as my imagination. But despite
these accomplishments, I could have further improved my story. When I wrote a poetry explication essay for nonfiction writing class, I did not just
turn to PaperRater. I asked my professor, Ben, for help writing the essay during his office hours. I wish I could have done

My Writing Experience
Reading and writing has always created a sense of understanding for me in my art. Reading in the literal sense is a way that we understand text or
symbols in our minds which in turn create meaning. Writing also in a literal sense is our way of communicating our knowledge and emotions to others
through symbols in text. The human experience for all people includes communication and through reading and writing this experience is created.
From the beginning of this course, my only prior experience with reading and writing were high school level course over literature and reading. I had
an average level of rhetoric, reading, writing and language overall however, understanding the significance of these subjects was never put forth in such
a way until I took this course. I discovered through this course that reading is a combination of not only our "visual information" but also our
"nonvisual information". My comprehension of reading has evolved from reading...show more content...
I feel that organization is both a strength and a weakness in my writing. Free writing is something that helped me gain a better sense of my ideas and
through this I was able to create more structured ideas. However, the formation of a structurally sound essay that contains writing that flows was
extremely difficult for myself. Fluidity was a challenge throughout my time in this course, but is was also something that created a better voice in my
writing. The understanding of reading and writing in this course was extremely meaningful for me and made a huge impact on my writing overall.
Writing motivates me and inspires me in my own work to create stories and share with others what I feel is memorable and should be shared. Although
it may never be something perfect, writing is something I wish to continue improving on and creating in order to share with

I was able to make friends easily by applying my interpersonal skills amongst others. This included joining societies as well as, using my

Good Parenting Essay
Good Parenting
What makes a good parent? People have always tired to find out the answer, because what makes a good parent makes a good family and what makes a
good family makes a good society and finally what makes a good society makes the world we live in a good one. Actually it is family where all the
social ills come from. It is family that predetermines what kind of society we will have tomorrow, because the society of tomorrow will be born to
and moulded in the family of today. So if we want to find out what makes a good parent and try to change the society we'll be living in we've got to

But as soon as children start feeling that their parents care too much, they try to get back at them and do just what their parents don't want them to do.
On the other hand kids who face lack of freedom may end up turning into introverts afraid to speak to other people or not as social (which is not a bad
thing though).
I believe that next thing any parent must not forget about is trust. Being consistent with your child is of paramount importance because that's how trust
is supported. Being consistent is not changing the rules half way through the game. Being consistent is not promising rewards that kids will never see.
Being consistent is not threatening punishment without carrying it through. From the very first day on Earth children put trust in their parents and it
must not be betrayed because once it is, once children find out they have been lied to, you will have to literally put yourself out to win it back.
Communication. Being able to communicate well builds confidence and charisma. Parents should not be afraid to talk to their children. They should
not jump down through their throat when they are curious about something either no matter how stupid it may seem. Parents should be able to look at
everyday things and events through the eyes of their children who are new in this world and have little knowledge of it. Everyday experiences can
give children a wonderful chance to explore and learn and it must not be taken from them by their

Descriptive Essay On An Island
The first thing that hit me was the sound. The sounds of birds, the sound of the sea crawling onto the sand. I felt million grains of sand underneath my
feet and the cool breeze against my face. Moreover, the tantalizing scent of the washed–up waves, coconut, and pineapple are all mixed into one. As I
opened my eyes, I was amazed by how easily fantasy and reality intertwined at that moment. It was like continuing a dream after waking up. So I
dragged myself up and turn my head to the east. While the sky in the opposite direction was still dark, the dawn on the east side already broke. A
mixture of yellow and orange on the horizon beneath a dark neon blue ocean of night had begun to peek out. As the sun continuously rose, all of the
purple and deep blue faded away, and the sun took its mighty position at the top of the sky, shining so very blindingly beautiful.
After I watched the sunrise, my mood lifted. Notwithstanding, I still feel threatened for I got trapped on an island. I stood there for a moment and
tried to figure out how I got to this island. A series of quick flashback of a shipwreck, and a big storm. Consequently, I have a severe headache, so I
decided to sit down in the sand. While sitting down, I observe the island and find that I was surrounded by water and some other islands. The water
around the island was as clear as crystal, to the point I can see the depths of the sea. Again, I dragged myself up and turn to the back; it seemed like a
tropical paradise. There were multitudes of greenery, lush foliage that looked like they were painted on.
I walk deeper into the island. Nowhere, the sound of the birds started to raise up. It brought freedom and happiness to the mind. Beautiful flowers in
reds, yellows, purples, and pinks lounged happily along the banks of small streams. Following the streams, it allowed me to hear the playful sound of
the water lapping on the rocks, and the sound of leaves rustling when the wind blew gently, bringing with it a feeling of peace and tranquility.
Continuing through the trees, my stomach started growling like a monster who is ready to eat its prey. Accordingly, the smell of fruits suddenly arises
on my left side so I made my way toward the fruity smell,

Well as a recent pupil of the Great McFadden I want to do all that I can to be on his good side, for he said that if I go one mile to meet him, he will go
two miles to meet me, which seems more that fair. As an assignment I am told that I have to write what I learned in English 100 and how that it
prepared me for English 200. Well sincehonesty is the best way of...show more content...
Having taken many writing classes I have learned many things about writing. I enjoy writing and can often write many pages about things that I am
interested in. I know that I have more learning to do about writing, and hopefully in the next couple weeks my knowledge of writing will have
expanded and my writing will have improved.
My Experience With Writing Arguments
I am unaware of any writing arguments. The only thing I can really think of is writing a research paper with the intent to change people's minds on a
certain subject. I remember researching for weeks in the library, looking through magazine after magazine. I had searched for enough information to
write a ten–page paper. The writing process of the paper took several weeks but when I had finished, all the hard work was worth the effort. I learned
many things from that course such as that you need to search for all the information you can because it is better to have too much information than not
enough. Also that course taught me many things about making references to the authors of the articles I used for my paper. I remember writing out
note card after note card and keeping all the necessary information about each book or magazine. That course taught me to become a better writer and
to respect how much detail really goes into a research paper like I had written. Other than that, I have not really had much experience in

How to Be A Good Student Essay
How to Be A Good Student
To become a success in life, we all need to learn to become a good student in every aspect of life. Becoming a good student takes much work and
self–discipline. There are many ways that a student can stand out from the rest of the class. These good students are distinguished by their attitude,
intellectual skills, consciousness, and achievement.
Attitude is primarily a genuine desire to learn and the will to do hard academic work to achieve understanding. It is also shown by how well you
apply yourself even to subjects in which you have little interest and how much you can achieve even when a teacher's style is not what you are used to.
Also attitude can change the way you percieveperceive things...show more content...
No one else can help you to attain a good attitude, you must decide and make it a goal to have a good attitude in your student life. (CS)
Intellectual skills is (S–V Agr) another important aspect of becoming a good student. This skill includes the ability to read and understand, intelligent
use of resources, mathematical and logical skills, efficient study habits, and the ability to communicate clearly and fluently. Intellectual skills include
time management, exam strategies, study strategies, and goal setting.
Consciousness, or awareness, is another helpful aspect of becoming a good student. The good student must be aware of their (agr) surroundings and
know what is going on in the world around them. We must strive to relate what is happening around us to what we are learning. This should be
important to us because we should care about what is going on politically, academically, socially, and spiritually. Being aware and paying attention is a
good trait to continually learn and apply.
Achievement is demonstrated by successful application of understanding. This aspect includes using correct and confident knowledge, effective
communication, and continuanceing of education through out your life. Achievement gives you a sense of accomplishment and meaning. To become a
good student, this must be a goal that you wish to accomplish.
Becoming a good student can be time consuming but well worth

Essay about My Work Experience
My Work Experience
When I was told that I would be doing my work experience at Belleview nursing home, working with old sick people I found that it was a very
daunting prospect. After my first day there, that had all changed.
I made my way to work on Monday 6th of June by the service bus at 8.30am to be at my workplace by 9.00am. The thought of meeting new people
and trying to act mature in an environment I was not sure of scared me. I got to Belleview nursing home and suddenly felt all my worries diminish
within ten minutes of meeting my newfound work colleagues. The matron, Myra Symes, welcomed me with a smile and made me feel part of the
team immediately. I was informed of my duties and...show more content...
One particular patient, Lizzie, who was 97 and looked very sad, and confused, due to her dementia, thinking that she was still at home during the war
and thought she was a sixteen year old girl. I thought of how she must have felt, having the mind of a sixteen year old but the body of a ninety seven
year old. She made me feel sad for her but feeling sorry for the patients doesn't help in the caring profession. Therefore I had to focus on the job I was
there to do.
As my week progressed at the nursing home, so did my capabilities I grew more confident in the tasks I was being asked to perform. I was
beginning to feel part of the team. Getting to know my work mates on a daily basis made me feel that any problems I would be facing with the
patients would be quickly diminished by simply asking for help on anything I wasn't sure of.
I began helping with the bathing, dressing, feeding and aiding them with their toilet needs. Although the patients were old not all of them were ill,
therefore they needed exercise and showing them exercise videos where we all joined in. This made it a fun time for them, thus making their day
much more bearable. My days here were passing quickly in the workplace as the patients kept me busy. They all had different and special

Setting and Achieving Goals Essay
A person needs to achieve certain goals in one's life before you can call them successful. Success is to achieve goals, you have set. I have set certain
goals I would like to achieve in my lifetime. Some of these goals are personal while others are professional. My professional goals in life are to find a
good job that makes me happy, get a good education, find a job that makes enough money for me to support my family, and help people. Goals it is
very important for me to receive a good education. Most job fields require a descent education. If I don't have an education I would not be able to
function properly at the work place and I would not understand what to do. To maintain a good job that will make good money will require me to go

Self Care Essay example
Just to think about self care can be a task in itself. I never really thought it about it, to be honest, but it is an essential part of living. We get so busy
and caught up living in our everyday lives that we forget about the most important part, ourselves. I have two young kids ages 3 and 5, so my focus is
always to take care of them and make sure their needs are met, forgetting about myself along the way. I think this assignment will help me to appreciate
and not take for granted the things that I know I need to do for myself and to show love to the most important person, me.
Stress management and self–soothing techniques are critical for surviving modern work–no matter the focus of the work. Psychotherapists tend to

In class we discussed "saying no" being apart of our plans and I know that this is a must for me. At times I find myself running around like a
chicken with its head cutoff. If only I had the courage to tell people no when I really need to the most. This will be tough for me but I know that it
will help me have more time to do the things I love.
Although there are several things on my list that I am cringing over I will give it my all. What better way to be a good therapist? Starting the process
of self–care now will hopefully alleviate future problems that I could face. I embrace this experience to create more self–love within. Setting out with
determination and a clear understanding of my plan will hopefully create the motivation that I need to complete my goals. Knowing how I am, I have
to take this day–by–day. If I do miss a task, instead of beating up on myself as I usually do I will commit to that task the following day. Its not so
much doing the tasks that I am worried about because everything on my list I appreciate, it is finding the time to fit it all in. I think what will
motivate me is knowing that if I can't help and take care of myself then how can I take care of my future clients. My ultimate goal after attending
Antioch is of course helping others better their lives so I think this plan will give me a jumpstart in helping myself first.

Message To Young People Summary

  • 1. Message to Young People Summary With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon–coming Saviour might be carried to the whole world! How soon might the end come,––the end of suffering and sorrow and sin! How soon, in place of a possession here, with its blight of sin and pain, our children might receive their inheritance where "the righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever"; where "the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick," and "the voice of weeping shall be no more heard."––"Counsels to Teachers, Parents, and Students," p. 555 . Ellen G. White wrote this book many years ago, but it still applies to our young people today. It would not hurt for our older people to read and...show more content... While you remain in listless indifference, how can you tell what is the will of God concerning you? and how do you expect to be saved, unless as faithful servants you do your Lord's will....pg. 206 Satan comes to man with his temptations as an angel of light, as he came to Christ. He has been working to bring man into a condition of physical and moral weakness, that he may overcome him with his temptations, and then triumph over his ruin. ...He well knows that it is impossible for man to discharge his obligations to God and to his fellow–men, while he impairs the faculties God has given him. The brain is the capital of the body... pg. 236 Many youth receive the impression that their early life is not designed for care–taking, but to be frittered away in idle sport, in jesting, in joking, and in foolish indulgences. While engaged in folly and indulgences of the senses, some think of nothing but the momentary gratification connected with it. Their desire for amusement, their love for society and for chatting and laughing, increases by indulgence, and they lose all relish for the sober realities of life, and home duties seem uninteresting. There is not enough change to meet their minds, and they become restless, peevish, and irritable. These young men should feel it a duty to make home happy and cheerful. . . . pg. 339 How would I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Thoughts On Writing And Writing Just like the writing I am forcing from my thoughts right now, writing in general is a difficult process for me to transfer from my mind to paper. I have found that when I write I tend to be very repetitive by saying the same thing in a different way over and over. I believe that my repetition is derived from trying to be too complex in the development of how I write. Some additional problems I come across in developing my rhetoric are concentrating; as my focus can be easily drawn away from the current topic at hand. I believe that it may be a short intention span or maybe even lack of understanding toward a certain topic such as the current one about writing developments. I struggle with my ability to form complete thoughts without jumping topics or merging each thought into one another. In retrospect to the problems I have come to face with my writing I do have many things I enjoy about writing. Writing to me is a way to be descriptive and creative with my own thoughts depending upon the style of course, but for the most part it is intriguing because everything that I will do in life will require me to have some set of writing skills. With the following in mind my essay writing process is developed from these aspects. My writing process will start by forming ideas in my head. Usually I don't like to write these ideas and thoughts down because I don't feel they are very developed therefore not worth the time it would take to plan them out on paper. This is especially true Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Best Ways To Study Essay Three Best Ways to Study For many students studying for an exam or a test can be very stressful. For a lot of them studying is very hard because sometimes most of the materials they study, they don't remember on the actual test or exam. However there are more than one way to study and most theses studying methods can be very helpful and very reliable. A Lot of students tend to cram all the studying two or the night before the test and according to UCLA professor of psychiatry Andrew J. Fuligni (2012) cramming and trying to get as much information in your head two or a night before the test is very counterproductive. How to study properly Although there are many ways and methods of studying whether it be scientific or a family belief ,...show more content... A second method of studying is by studying in an appropriate setting (Chadron State College). Studying in an environment where distraction is very easy to find is very difficult. Studying in a quiet setting with a lot of space away from distraction can help you study and can help memory performance. With this setting it's also helpful to be consistent with the studying, studying at the same time and same place is very effective especially when this is done 2 –3 weeks prior to the test quiz or exam. With the proper setting, proper setting is also necessary. " Your study desk or table should be equipped with all the materials you might need to complete the assignment, e.g., pencils, pens, erasers, paper clips, stapler, dictionary, snacks, and liquid refreshments, etc." – Chadron State College. According to Goodwin (2015), studying with music before a test can improve attention and can help lessen depression and anxiety. This amount of interest paid to the bank adds on to the amount of money you had originally taken out. Many people, adults too, fail to take this into consideration when they take out a loan or spend with a credit cards. Credit cards work the same way as a loan just on a smaller scale. These two factors can lead to large debt issues for teens and adults. Debt issues that can and will follow them for a long time along after, making it hard to get out of. Seeing the problem of debt and over spending can be overwhelming. There are solutions. Big things have little beginnings. The first real step towards a sound financial life is getting out of any debt. This can be done by focusing in and paying off friends or talking to a bank and making loan payments larger so less interest is paid. Once debt free the next place to go is back to the bank. Start a savings plan. Just $50 dollars a month grows to $3,333 in 5 years. That is an amazing amount of money to have as a teen and allows so much more flexibility when it comes to financial decisions and purchases. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. A Short Term And Long Term Goals As life moves forward, your goals will inevitably change and your definition of success and happiness changes with them. It may be time to take a look at your goals and redefine them for a happy ending. Ask yourself what you want to accomplish. Most people envision a far–off future where they're doing exactly what they want, have what they want, and live the way they want. It's all kind of fuzzy, with vague notions of future happiness hinging on retirement in a sunny place where it never rains. The reality is that about 80 percent of people don't have a clue as to what their long–term aspirations are. And that's a shame because we need to have goals to reach for. They help to identify what it is we want and how we're going to get there. They bring that fuzzy notion of a far–off happy future into sharp focus. Goals can be divided into short–term and long–term objectives. A short–term goal is something you want to accomplish in the near future, such as planting a garden next week, or buying a new car before the end of the year. A long–term goal is for further down the road like graduating from college, or saving for that sunny retirement you long for. They require more time and planning than a short–term goal and can be difficult to set. Here are a few tips to help make it easier for you to set or readjust your objectives. Take a moment to think about what you want to achieve or change in your long–term agenda. Visualize where you want to be in five years, ten Get more content on HelpWriting.net

The night when everyone hopes that snow will fall and they will wake up to a garden of glistening diamonds grown by the morning sun. It was Christmas Eve. As many had hoped, snow was falling. It slowly covered the houses and streets in a thick blanket. The moon shone her silver light down on the white world, and but for one, there was nobody to view the kind of beauty that things such as love and dreams are made of. Finally, the little boy came to a stop, not wanting to ever take another step again. He raised his downcast eyes, and in front of him stood a church. He remembered that he had been to church before, and the building that loomed above him stirred vague memories. The boy made himself stumble a few more steps, and pressed his face to the glass door he had arrived at. He looked in, and saw the church was lit up inside. There was light coming from behind a man on a big cross, and two huge Christmas trees shone in heavenly splendor. Looking at the man on the cross, he had a faint recollection. He half–remembered, a long time ago, that someone reading from a big book had said that the man on the cross would come on Christmas. That he came every Christmas. The little boy supposed that if anyone would help him, it would be the man inside. He loved everyone. So, the little boy laid down in front of the church, and as he slipped off into sleep, a glimmer of hope, that the man would come and save him from the cold and loneliness, warmed his heart. The snow continued to fall, and bells jingled far in the distance. Presents were laid under trees, and visions of sugar plums danced in most children's heads. This aspect includes, of course, grammar, but also transitional phrases (I am not sure if those are important in a short story) as well as vocabulary. And eventually, I tweaked my composition after carefully reading my story to myself. I learned that reading your own work aloud helps you further comprehend any revisions you should make. As a result of following these revision guidelines, I improved my story dramatically; it more than tripled the word count of my story to about one thousand words. Although the patients were old not all of them were ill, therefore they needed exercise and showing them exercise videos where we all joined in. This made it a fun time for them, thus making their day much more bearable. My days here were passing quickly in the workplace as the patients kept me busy. We get so busy and caught up living in our everyday lives that we forget about the most important part, ourselves. In class we discussed "saying no" being apart of our plans and I know that this is a must for me. At times I find myself running around like a chicken with its head cutoff. If only I had the courage to tell people no when I really need to the most. This will be tough for me but I know that it will help me have more time to do the things I love. Although there are several things on my list that I am cringing over I will give it my all. What better way to be a good therapist? Starting the process of self–care now will hopefully alleviate future problems that I could face. I embrace this experience to create more self–love within. Setting out with determination and a clear understanding of my plan will hopefully create the motivation that I need to complete my goals. Knowing how I am, I have to take this day–by–day. If I do miss a task, instead of beating up on myself as I usually do I will commit to that task the following day. Its not so much doing the tasks that I am worried about because everything on my list I appreciate, it is finding the time to fit it all in. I think what will motivate me is knowing that if I can't help and take care of myself then how can I take care of my future clients. My ultimate goal after attending Antioch is of course helping others better their lives so I think this plan will give me a jumpstart in helping myself first. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
