Site Manager: Oversee all store operations and functions, including cash
applications, inventory management, accounts payable and receivable, DOT and
FDA compliance, training and human resources. Acted as liaison between sales
and operations, ensured customer needs were met in a timely manner. Double
digit increase in operational contribution through first year.
Matheson Gas: March 2010 to March 2014.
Outside Sales/Site Manager: Oversaw all store operations and functions,
including cash applications, inventory management, accounts payable and
receivable, DOT and FDA compliance, training and human resources. Saw
increases in sales for the past two years of over 12%. As Outside Sales, I was
responsible for setting new accounts, increasing sales and margin, and
maintaining of current accounts.
Northern Tool and Equipment: June 2004 to March 2010
Store Manager: Oversaw all retail operations, inventory control,
merchandising, and human resources. While with Northern, I led one of the top
performing stores in the company, consistently achieving top audit scores in the
region, leading the region in credit applications, and leading the company in
extended service plan sales for three consecutive years. I was also chosen to
pilot multiple initiatives which were later integrated into daily use at all retail
stores. I suggested product additions and subtractions, and communicated on a
regular basis with corporate personnel including buyers, merchants, human
resources and vice-presidents.
Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse: May 1996 to June 2004
Operations Manager: Directly oversaw all operations and functions of retail
store. I began my career with Lowe’s, opening the store in Lubbock, TX as head
2. of the Tools. During my time as manager, I ran nearly every department in the
store, including Hardware, Millworks, Electrical, Plumbing, Cabinets,
Commercial Sales, Receiving and Delivery, Replenishment and Front End
Operations as both a Department and Zone Manager. I then transferred to
Albuquerque, NM where I assisted in mass hire and store set before opening that
store in October of 2000. There I served as Zone Manager of 3 zones. I was then
contacted by the store manager in Burleson, TX and asked to transfer and accept
the Operations Manager position, which is second only to the Store Manager.

Personal Interest and Hobbies:
I am the proud father of three great kids and also a very blessed husband. I
currently serve as a Deacon at Westworth Church of Christ in White Settlement,
TX where I assist in the upkeep of the facilities, as well as helping in
coordination of Youth activities. My hobbies include Church activities and BMX
bicycle racing.
