What would the world be like if we didn’t have dinosaurs?

How many specious of dinosaurs did we have?
What was the name of the dinosaur that could fly?
What was the biggest dinosaur?
3. SUMMARY OF THE UNIT
Students will list the dif ferent types of dinosaurs. Students
will write an addition/subtraction sentence and draw a
dinosaur picture to illustrate it. Students will observe
dinosaur bones and illustrate types of bones found. Students
will conduct an experiment to learn how dinosaurs eat .

It is an engaging unit
It is also hands on so the students will be doing most of the
work
Group work (which students tend to do better in)
Fun and exciting (and the best part they are learning while
having fun)

7. OBJECTIVES:
Students will list the body parts of a dinosaur. Students will
write an addition/subtraction sentence and draw a picture of
a dinosaur to illustrate it. Students will observe dinosaurs and
illustrate types of dinosaur bones. Students will conduct an
experiment to learn how dinosaurs eat.
8. MY GOALS FOR PROJECT-BASED
LEARNING
Try some project-based learning strategies.
To make my classroom more student -centered.
Using technology tools that I have not used before.
Try to focus on targeting specific century skills.
Try to do a couple mini -lessons.
