- Smart and driven officer with unlimited potential. Keen understanding of MAGTF
operations and fantastic work ethic made him my top choice to serve as the Combat
Logistics Detachment commander in support of the RLT HQ during Exercise SSANG YONG 14 in
the Republic of Korea. Tight coordination and aggressive execution during the HA/DR
certification event received noteworthy praise from the evaluators, and directly led to
a successful certification for the CLB. Highly motivated with strong personal character,
he finds ways to get the job done regardless of the challenge. I trust him implicitly.
Meticulous, detail oriented and tactically proficient, he possesses all the qualities we
expect in our combat engineer officers. Always professional in military bearing, he sets
the right standard for our Marines. A must for promotion and career designation.

I have about 140 reports in my comparative assessment for this grade- I rank MRO just
about in the middle. MRO's greatest attribute is that he is not afraid to roll his
sleeves up and get to work. His Engineers did great work assisting in the establishment
of the MEU/RLT HQ ashore during Exercise SSANG YONG '14. MRO is persistent and honest.
He possesses solid character and good judgment. I believe MRO has great potential for
future valued service. Already selected for promotion, MRO is highly recommended for
career designation.
