- a word that names a person, a place, a thing or

5. TwoTypes Of Noun:
a. Proper Noun- a specific name of person, place, thing or
idea/events and starts with Capital letter
Example:
•People: Kayla, Johann, Kim, Bongbong, Rizal
•Places: Malire, Philippines, Cotabato, Roxas St.
•Things: Adidas, Lacoste, Pepsi, Sunsilk, Jansport
•Idea/Event: Christmas Day,Valentines Day
6. TwoTypes Of Noun:
b. Common Noun- an unspecific name of person, place,
thing or idea and starts with small letter
Example:
•People: friend, classmate, teacher, cousin, best friend, pet
•Places: backyard, plaza, field, farm, house, river, classroom
•Things: bag, pizza, cup, chair, flag
•Idea/Event: date, truth, anniversary, party, birthday

that cannot be seen or touch

Compound Nouns
•Are nouns that are made of two or more
words
•It can be one word, or more than one
word
•Can also be joined by one or more
hyphens
