MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY
These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that students will learn well. Always be guided by
demonstration of learning by the students which you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing
students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice their learning, question their learning processes, and draw conclusions about what they
learned in relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step.

B.Establishing a
Purpose for the
Lesson
Since this is the beginning of a new
school year, it is important to
introduce the teacher, the
learners, the learning area, as well
as the expectations and/or
requirements needed to pass the
subject.
Being able to know the level
of reading skills of every
student is required to be
achieved at the beginning of
a new school year so that
the teacher can identify the
readers that may need
remediation in their reading
skills.
Diagnostic tests are
used to determine a
student's proficiency
level in English before
they begin learning the
course. These kinds of
tests are meant to help
pinpoint what students
know and don't know.
