Education
George Mason University
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, concentration in Contemporary World Literature,
emphasis on Southern Gothic.
Northern Virginia Community College
• Associates Degree in General Studies 2000-2002, concentration in world
literature.
Experience
Fairfax County Public Schools Mar. 2008-Present
Substitute teacher grades K-12.
• Follow lesson plans and procedures for each grade level.
• Responsible for teaching, attendance, safety of students and working with all
teachers and secretarial staff.
Domino’s Pizza June 2000-2007
Driver for several stores.
• Opened and closed stores and balanced cash register receipts.
• Supervised other drivers’ balances.
• Reconciled bank/cash drawer.
Skills
• Proficient with LCD projectors and smart board technologies.
• Trained and tested in FCPS safety drills and procedures.
• Familiar with current disciplinary methods and guidelines.
• Experienced and comfortable with special education classes, IEPs and 504
Plans.
