SUMMARY
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Cheryl is a Senior Project manager and has a total of 25 years’ experience. She has extensive
expertise in a number of industries and strong project management principles. She has managed
many successful projects from initial development to installation and final signoff for customers
(the full SDLC), including stock control of equipment, staging and deployment of systems and
equipment. She has project managed projects using both PRINCE 2 and PMBOK. Cheryl was also
involved on a project where Back Office and POS terminals were installed throughout South Africa
for 330 Total S.A. sites. She is strong at resource management across many projects which she can
manage concurrently, whilst continuing to encourage resources with their development and
career path.
Cheryl has also been involved with the development and launching of software packages (R&D),
including the scanning, indexing and archiving of documents for GijimaAST. This was launched into
the market in May 2004, and led to the company gaining many customers.
She is strong at managing change control, resources, financials, as well as meeting project
timeframes and expectations.
Cheryl also has experience in the banking industry in Credit Risk, where she implementing projects
in different countries in Africa. She was also responsible for managing resources in Africa and India
(off-shore). Cheryl was also involved in the banking call centre software upgrade in for Standard
Bank South Africa.

TESTING MANAGEMENT
She has a vast knowledge of the project development cycle, adhering to the testing life cycles and
producing adequate reports after each cycle of testing. Strong at managing resources regarding
their career development with continued feedback regarding their work ethics and performance.
Risks raised and escalated when testing and bug fixing exceeds time allocated. She constantly
continues to enhance and improve methodologies and documentation as required to lessen risk of
development testing. She has the ability to manage many testing teams concurrently producing
updated feedback / documentation regarding each test cycle.
Although she has no project manager qualifications, she has managed large projects for over 10
years according to the PMBOK standards, helping to identify and introduce additional
documentation as required. E.g. RFI, Risk, MRI registers.

  • 2. SUMMARY PROJECT MANAGEMENT Cheryl is a Senior Project manager and has a total of 25 years’ experience. She has extensive expertise in a number of industries and strong project management principles. She has managed many successful projects from initial development to installation and final signoff for customers (the full SDLC), including stock control of equipment, staging and deployment of systems and equipment. She has project managed projects using both PRINCE 2 and PMBOK. Cheryl was also involved on a project where Back Office and POS terminals were installed throughout South Africa for 330 Total S.A. sites. She is strong at resource management across many projects which she can manage concurrently, whilst continuing to encourage resources with their development and career path. Cheryl has also been involved with the development and launching of software packages (R&D), including the scanning, indexing and archiving of documents for GijimaAST. This was launched into the market in May 2004, and led to the company gaining many customers. She is strong at managing change control, resources, financials, as well as meeting project timeframes and expectations. Cheryl also has experience in the banking industry in Credit Risk, where she implementing projects in different countries in Africa. She was also responsible for managing resources in Africa and India (off-shore). Cheryl was also involved in the banking call centre software upgrade in for Standard Bank South Africa.
