The key to setting priorities for a Quality Performance Improvement system begins with
understanding the roadmap. The organization strategies will align priorities for
improvement, risk, volume, problems, patient safety, cost, customer satisfaction, and other
areas identified by the organization.
In this framework, leaders apply the Mission, Vision, and Strategy. This will push change,
generate new ideas for improvement, and contribute to an organization of improvement.
