Cosmopolitan is an American monthly
fashion and entertainment magazine for
women, first published based in New
York City in March 1886 as a family
magazine; it was later transformed into a
literary magazine and, since 1965, has
become a women's magazine. It was
formerly titled The Cosmopolitan.
Cosmopolitan is one of the
most powerful and recognised brands in
the world.
It’s the biggest young women’s
magazine media brand in the UK,
reaching 1 in 4 millennials.
Cosmopolitan magazine had an average
monthly reach of around 4.3 million adults
in the United Kingdom from April 2019 to
March 2020. Reach was higher among
women than men, with nearly 3.4 million
women reached by the print title or its
website.
Cosmopolitan's target market is 18- to 34-
year-old women, but not just anyone can
be a Cosmo girl. "It's not an age thing, it's
an attitude thing," says Ms Adcock. "It's
glamorous and sexy, and it's about success
- some people are scared of that, at
whatever age."

what my magazine will do. They sell their print versions in doctors offices and local stores, which
is similar to our plan of doctors offices, gyms and local businesses. They advertise digitally
through Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and more. Doing these techniques and selling where they
do, increases their audience and helps draw the readers and buyers in. In order for Sota' Wellness
to be successful, we need to have a wide range of target audiences and advertising techniques.
One good technique that Women's Health magazine does to sell their magazine to their target
audience is organizing events or participating in health-related events or runs, and selling their
product. Those people are already committed to health, fitness and wellness and will help draw in
a larger audience.
