KEY STRENGTHS
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
PROLUXE – Perris, CA 2015 -Current
VP Manufacturing
Primary responsibility developing a road map and executing in phases to improve cash flow, floor efficiencies, reduce inventory
and revitalize the work force with an emphasis in personal responsibility for quality.
• Worked closely with the CFO to improve cash flow by first outlining a payment plan with key critical vendors, having
them align shipments with our production and assembly needs. Reduced manufacturing turns from 8 to 3 weeks.
• Created budgets to restore machinery to operating conditions, purchased machinery that increased capacity,
eliminated second shift and off-loaded parts that did not fit our core capability, reducing overall expenditures
including payroll by $25,000/month yet increased monthly shipments.
• Implemented (still working on this) a software that replaced three different programs that never really communicated
with each other. The biggest challenge was finding a software for sales, reps and tracking customer service that was
also manufacturing driven.
• Revitalized a work force that was neglected for years, focused on teamwork, appreciation and reward for
improvement. Brought in personnel that fit the “new core values” of the company.
• Inside two months increased monthly shipping dollars by $200,000 compared to the same time period of previous
year.
• Created an assembly instruction manual out-lining key inspection points, involved managers and a culture of
accountability. Quality has improved but no measurable matrix in place.
