2. I want to vote to simple be
more involved. Not just
for the president election,
but to get involved in the
county as well. The thing I
would like to see changed
is that people stop
referring to the Democrats
as the poor and uneducated
party. It all starts with one
vote, so I look forward to
voting. I think the
Republicans are laughing
at us because they don’t
think that Democrats can
be the leading party.

3. The thing that I learned this semester that stuck with
me was how judges are picked. I used to assume that
they went to college and filled out a job application
just like everyone else and was in the position until
they felt like resigning. Come to find out they also
have to be picked for their position and the people
get a say as well. 3
4. I do believe that immigration is one our biggest problem. Before this class
I was the person yelling at the TV that we didn’t need a wall. I have to
admit that I was unaware of the damage it was doing to us to have so
many people sneaking in to the country. This is something that will stay
as a top priority and I agree now that it should. At the same time splitting
up families is ridiculous. They came over here together, send them back
together or at least let them wait everything out together if they will get to
become legal.
Lets find a better way Power trip? I think yes

5. Texas plays a role in influencing the
government because its stuck in the
old ways. I takes years and
determination for a new law to be
passed or bill to be changed. Texas is
know for being the traditional state. 5
6. • I did not know that there are so many parties other than
Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians.
• I learned that immigration is an actual problem. Not just
an attack against Mexico.
• Texas has a below average graduation rate.
• America is one of the top10 countries that carries out the
death penalty.
