2. Social Media
INSTAGRAM: ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS WITH YOUR
FOLLOWERS.
SNAPCHAT: ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS WITH FRIENDS FOR
ONLY 10 SECONDS AT A TIME.
FACEBOOK: ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE PHOTOS, VIDEOS, OR A POST
CONTAINING ONLY WORDS.
TWITTER: ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE PHOTOS, VIDEOS, OR “TWEETS” (POST
CONTAINING WORDS). TWITTER ONLY ALLOWS TWEETS AS LONG AS 280 CHARACTERS.
I personally use all of the social media listed above. Social media is a great way to keep up
with how your family and friends are doing, especially if you don’t get to see them on a daily
basis.
3. Sharing Money
FACEBOOK MESSENGER: ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE MONEY THROUGH LINKING
YOUR BANK ACCOUNT TO YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUNT AND SHARE MONEY
WITH FACEBOOK FRIENDS.
PAYPAL: LINKING YOUR BANKING INFORMATION TO A PAYPAL ACCOUNT
ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE MONEY WITH OTHER PAYPAL USERS.
VENMO: LINKING YOUR BANKING INFORMATION TO A VENMO ACCOUNT
ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE MONEY WITH OTHER VENMO USERS.
I personally only use the Venmo cash app to share money. Cash apps are a recently a popular
application to share money with friends when you don’t have cash on you.
4. Highlight Sharing
HUDL: ALLOWS FOLLOWERS OF YOUR ACCOUNT TO VIEW SPORTING FOOTAGE.
COACHES USUALLY USE HUDL TO UPLOAD VIDEOS OF GAMES AND THEN
ALLOW THE PLAYER TO MAKE HIGHLIGHTS OF THEIR SUCCESS.
OTHER APPLICATIONS LIKE CROSSOVER AND COACHCAM ARE ALSO USED FOR
THE SAME PURPOSES.
I have only used the Hudl app. Being a soccer player at Neosho, our coach will upload
videos of our games allowing us players to make highlights of ourselves or simply just
watch games.
Allows other coaches to view your progress as well. It comes in handy when you are
trying to be recruited to a new school or team.
5. Google
GMAIL: ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE INFORMATION TO OTHER EMAIL ACCOUNTS.
GOOGLE DOCS: ALLOWS YOU TO TYPE PAPERS AND SAVE THEM TO YOUR
GOOGLE ACCOUNT. ALSO ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE WITH OTHER USERS.
GOOGLE DRIVE: ALLOWS YOU TO SAVE THINGS TO YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT.
Google is a great application and has so many different apps inside of the bundle. There
are more that aren’t listed above such as, google sites, google calendar, google handouts
and google keep.
I personally use gmail and google docs the most. I love the feature on google docs that
saves every change you make without having to ’save’ your progress.
