The Problem for NGOs
• NGOs are in constant need of various items which are integral to achieving
their objectives. Highly resource constrained.
• 3.2 million NGOs in India alone. About 10,000 of these are credible and
making impact.
Our Value Proposition
• NGOs can set up a free account on our platform and can post their item
requirements.
• Individual donors and companies from across the world can fulfill these
requirements by either sending their own items in good condition or by
purchasing items from an e-commerce site and giving NGO delivery address
on the shopping site directly!
3. 3
Problem for item donors
• Surplus in households and many companies that is no longer useful for them
• Most people find it difficult to locate NGOs nearby and simply end up donating
items to domestic help or even worst trashing them.
• With cash donation, donors are concerned that 100% of it does not reach needy
• Unable to buy common donation items online
• There are 300 million internet users in India growing at a rapid rate of 32%.
Indians are donating 2.5% of their yearly income. It is mandatory for large
companies to spend 2% of their profits in CSR activities.
Our Value Proposition
• Donors can post the details of the used items that NGOs can procure.
• We are building our own e-Commerce portal for products utilized by BoP.

1. Yousee.in: Based in Hyderabad, it has a very small user base. Number
of items being donated as listed on the website is only 7 even after 3
years.
2. GiveIndia.org: You can only use this portal to donate money not items
3. Amazon’s Gift a Smile Initiative: There are roughly 30 NGOs enlisted
on this platform. We expect to reach out to a much larger number of
NGOs. There is no option to donate used items at Amazon.
4. Amazon, Flipkart and other emerging e-commerce portals: All e-
Commerce portals sell products consumed by upper and middle classes.
Donors using Shop Dil Se will be from upper and middle classes but
they will buy for people at the bottom of the economic pyramid.

Major Sources of Revenue
12. 12
• Partnership with other E-Commerce websites
• Data sharing – Let’s say an NGO requirement of stationery is not fulfilled by
the Donors for 2 weeks. We will share this information with our Stationery
vendor partner who can offer it to NGOs at a discounted price. We will charge
a fee from vendor partners for sharing these leads.
• We will win competitions and grants for the unique concept and impact.
• CSR Consulting - Longer term, we will provide CSR consulting services to
corporate clients.
As we are balancing impact with revenues, we are not considering the
following:
NGO subscription fee and Premium listing (item requirements) of NGOs

Why you should invest?
• There is no portal that lists item requirements of NGOs across a range of causes,
locations and item categories that a donor could choose from. There is no portal that
leverages the rapidly expanding e-commerce to fulfill NGOs item requirements
• There is a large segment of donors who prefer donating items as against cash.
• Our concept is easily scalable. Both inequality and consumerism have reached their
zenith globally. We therefore hope to make our platform global! We have initiated
feasibility study to deploy in Nigeria and Bulgeria.
• There is buying happening and for unique reason. ShopDilSe will sell products used
by people at BoP(80% of the population). Very little competition in this segment.
• The team has an impressive mix of management, technical and sector expertise
• You will be making a huge impact in the lives of millions of people.
• This is an opportunity to revolutionize the philanthropic space
