partnership with Startup India and Invest India,
and knowledge partners - Ministry of Electronics &
Information Technology (MeitY), Department of
Science & Technology - Ministry of Science &
Technology (DST) and The Indus Entrepreneurs
(TiE, Delhi).

Western Digital India Patent day is a platform for Inventors to showcase their Inventions and
innovation aspirants and participants to get together and discuss key inventions. This platforms
provides a great learning experience for future Innovation aspirants at Western Digital India
encouraging them to take the lead and drive Innovation.

TO ‘Make it happen’ and in ‘India’
Deputy chief minister CN Ashwath Narayan conveyed his appreciation to technology company Western Digital for
developing a 1 TB Micro SD card at its facility in Bengaluru.
The deputy chief minister interacted with Supria Dhanda, the country head of the California headquartered technology
company, through video-conferencing, and urged the firm to take advantage of Karnataka's friendly investment policies.
The deputy chief minister, who holds the IT portfolio, said it was indeed a marvel that such a large amount of data could
be stored into such a small thumb-sized device, and it was a matter of pride for the government that it was made in
Bengaluru.
