To Whom It May Concern, I am an American student who is finishing my 3rd year of fashion business school in Paris, France at ESMOD. Over the 3 years I have adapted to a completely new culture while learning and developing skills in business in the fashion industry. I am very interested in merchandising and would love to eventually become a visual merchandiser; which I also have attended courses for in my school program. My school has allowed me to become involved and experience the fashion industry in the heart of it all, Paris. I have completed 2 internships in Paris and two in my hometown of Seattle. These internships have involved retail and marketing, merchandising, visual merchandising, photography and website and ecommerce creation. Aside from my many courses, these internships have really given me the opportunity to experience the industry first hand, and I am looking forward to my next internship! Beginning in April/May 2016 I am required to complete a 6 month internship (by ESMOD) . I am so interested and passionate about visual merchandising, and have worked with the vm at Alexander Wang and was able to freelance at my first internship at Utopia jewelry boutique. After my internship I will return back to Paris to present my final project and graduate in December 2016. This internship would be such an amazing opportunity for me to use my knowledge and skills of visual merchandising, while being able to express my creativity and individuality, to gain more experience in this department.
