Feedback from our colleagues:
Thank you both so very much for the informative SIOP session. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it gave me lots to
think about. Marlene Caravakis, Math
I just love coming to your SIOP sessions! Your enthusiasm and energy are amazing, you make me want to
try new ideas. Thank you. Eileen Goodrich, Reading
I want SIOP training. This was one of the BEST workshops I’ve attended in years! Laura Blake, Special Ed
Thank you so much for the training last week. It was wonderful. If you ever offer any other training
sessions during lunch or after school, please let me know. Thank you for your time! Anne Cunningham,
Special Ed
Thank you for the workshop today. I have some readers and was hoping to maybe set up a station in my
room for next year for independent reading. I have never done this before, do you have any pointers,
suggestions for helping me to implement this? Thank you! Aryn Storrs, World Language
Despite its brevity the SIOP session was extremely inspiring and informational. Thanks so much Ladies for
all you do to help us be more effective teachers! Rachel Torres-O’Leary, Social Studies
Thank you so much for the workshop! I used the GIST with a short video in class yesterday and it was
great. All the students participated and even asked to use the strategy again when watching videos.
--Thanks! Christine Riter, Social Studies
Feedback from our colleagues:
That was a great seminar. Kudos to you. I've got all my periods in the computer lab tomorrow (D478) so any
chance you have to stop in we would love to have you visit with the kids. I look forward to implementing think
cubes with them soon. Barbara Bogart, Bilingual Biology
Thank you so much. I was unable to attend, but my student teacher shared with me this morning all the
valuable information and materials provided. On behalf of all the staff, thank you for the opportunity to learn
and grow. Christina Richa, English
Thank you for all that you do to prepare and present information for the meetings. You guys are great. I hope
that I can find some time to plan to use some of your materials. I know that some of it I already do, but in order
to do it really well, I need LOTS of time to plan. Thanks again! This is good info to add to my TEAM
paper. Casey Duffy, English
I just returned from an extremely informative PD opportunity on "Scaffolding for Success!" The after school
session was engaging and extremely beneficial and the information garnished during the session will be
integrated into my classroom. Differentiated instruction is a topic which is extremely challenging, and the
activities and handouts which they shared with the group will provide different strategies to maximize student
success. Denise Brough, Business
Thank you so much for sharing all of that information with us today, it was so helpful. I think we were all on
the same page trying to help the kids. . . Thanks again! Lisa Frese, Health/PE
You ladies ROCK! I will be coming to all of your workshops this year. Roger Mendez, Spanish
