How has the job market changed in June 2022? Here some data points relating to the changes in the number of published job ads on LinkedIn:
- Europe (38 countries): -5.68%
- only 11 out of 38 countries saw a decrease
- 28 saw increases from 0.15% – 20.06%
- -6.61% decrease in DACH region

5. From the employer perspective: more demand for
candidates = salaries and/or benefit packages go
up. The “post and pray” approach might not work.
On the other hand, more candidates, more choice,
more negotiation flexibility.
From the candidate perspective: more demand =
"less effort" put into the job search (less time, more
space to negotiate salary).
