Essay about Love and Person
Love has a definition–a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person–but yet has so many different meanings. Thesauruscoping
demonstrates the different meanings in which the word Love can deliver. The synonym of Love, Adoration, does not necessarily mean that these
words have the same meaning. The definition of Adoration is the act of paying honor, as to a divine being or to worship. These words can be isolated
from each other by meaning because they are two different descriptions. Love is an emotion and Adoration is a way of acting towards another. For
example, there may be someone who loves to go to church every Sunday, being a part of their daily routine, but has adoration for God, meaning to
worship and pay honor to what...show more content...
This kind of Love that is being expressed is illustrating the emotional kind of love towards another person rather than an object. Loving an object
rather than a person is different because an object doesn't reveal emotion and personality, nothing but the physical features. Emotion and personality are
the major components of why a person loves another, but physical attraction is also a reason but very minor. By analyzing the different ways in which
Love can be used, the distinctive meanings of this word is additionally known.
Personification is the method in which a certain emotion is given a human–like quality. There are endless numbers of ways in which Love can be
personified. Love is used and/or seen in a person's every day life. Love is a person that is seen to be always happy–go–lucky, full of life, and caring
about other people rather than himself. Love texts his girlfriend saying "goodnight" before he sleeps and "good morning" as soon as he wakes. He
comes to her home, knocks on the door, and brings flowers and soup when his girlfriend is sick. Love is not able to sleep at night, knowing that his
loved one is out with her friends; because he is afraid something will happen to her and would die if he lost her, emotionally or physically. He calls
her back after she hangs up on him because of a silly argument that was

Love Is A Powerful Feeling Essay
Love is a powerful feeling; it makes you do crazy thing. Many people spend years trying to find it, others give up thinking they'll never find it. Love
has been defined as an intensive feeling of a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone. Of course, Love doesn 't have to romantic and/or sexual.
People who are ace, as in asexual, aromantic and agender, can still be in relationships that are satisfying for them without the needs of a romantic
relationship. Familial love is also non–romantic–sexual. However, in this paper, we will be talking about romantic–sexual love, what it is, and why I
believe it's so important to understand and experience. Like I mentioned in the paragraph above love is usually defined as an intensive feeling of a
deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone, however love is a bit more complicated than that. Love is special, it's unique in it's attitude and
behavioral components, it's a phenomenon that eludes easy definition (Our Sexuality, 2012). Love has always been a complicated subject; sometimes
love is fickle, sometimes love isn't love, but rather pure infatuation. Infatuation is often mistaken for love, however it is only a short lived but intense
passion for someone. It's possible that since many infatuations are mistaken love that many researches regarding the measurements of love would
include individuals infatuated with each other. In one possible case, a man named Zick Rubin wished to measure love and liking. He set up 13 questions

Love Poems
Have the love poems, you have read given you a better insight into the emotion of love?
The subject of 'Love Poetry' has given rise to some of the most beautiful and fascinating poetry. The poets illustrate their feelings, or the feelings of the
people concerned with them through the use of figurative language. Alove poem is not necessarily a poem about romantic love, about romance,
marriage and commitment; it could be something else entirely. It seems to be Universal. Timeless. Yet, it's also very individual, filtered by our own
lives and expectations. Love can be a different thing for each one of us. Not all love poems deal with happy positive sides of love but there is also the
negative sides such as pain,...show more content...
'do not grieve' , she does not want her lover to feel that her love is possessive, she does not want him to feel guilty. She wants him to cherish good
times that they had, 'forget and smile'.
The tone throughout is melancholy and emotional as the poet talks about her approaching death. The sonnet form is suitably used because the poet is
telling her husband on how death will take over their love. She accepts death in a philosophical manner. Although she is physically dead she wants to
be remembered.
Christina Rossetti shows us how death can bring a blissful relationship to an end, but she also shows that love can exist even after death if it has
withstood the test of time. She repeats the title 'remember' throughout the poem as a technique to emphasize that she really wants to be remembered.
Poet Rossetti wants to be remembered by her love even if 'darkness and corruption leave'. Yet her love is unselfish.
Here a poem by Christina Rossetti's, 'A Birthday', is a contrast to
'Remember'. Throughout this poem Rossetti expresses happy contented feelings, through her beautiful use of imagery. Nature imagery is used in the
first half of the poem, ' heart is like a singing bird' ,
'heart is like a rainb
The title 'A Birthday' is not represented with love at all, but as we read the poem, we come to know that 'A Birthday' is new life, because she is in love.
We see how love makes a person radiant and blissful.

Essay On Romantic Love
Love is an abundant emotion that has different degrees. There is familial love, friendly love, unconditional love, and of course romantic love.
Romantic love will be the superstar of this article. Romantic love may be around every corner whether between an old couple or a young teenage
romance. However, love is not the easiest thing to attain. It is such a simple concept, though a difficult thing to actually have a person's hands on.
Most people nowadays will yearn for something more commonly known as true love. True love can be explained in a sense that it is a person we
may or may not consider as a soul mate. It can be someone we love to a certain degree that we feel happy, complete, and contented.
The definition may be thrown out there in whatever way, but meeting eye to eye with said true love comes with certain complexity.
In other times, we may be thrown off. What we think could be considered love may not actually be love.
Though before knowing how to find love, one must know the basics when it comes to the act of loving in general.
PsychologyToday.com records research on love.
According to said research, vital things to a deep kind of love are physical attraction and a certain level of intimacy, which follow through with
companionship that you feel towards the other person.
The following can lead to difficulty because, in a sense, people of today are inclined towards an ideal view of romance. People are blinded by what they
see in the media and relate whatever

Definition Essay About Love
When we talk about love, most people think that love is the high mood, the abundant feeling and the vigorous event. But, what is the true love?
Which kind of love is the one which we really need? Some people say that love is a feeling which is a natural expression when you meet the opposite
sex with your admiration. Sometimes love is active, but sometimes it is passive. When love comes to you, you will act like you were the host of
love with the capacity to controlling the direction of your love and guiding it move forward to where you want it to go. Of course, it would be
admired if someone can control his love. But when you are played in a passive role, the last thing you can do is just obedience. In fact, love is a thing

Most Chinese people are not good at speaking and showing their love. In fact, speaking one's love loudly and lettingthe your lover know that he/she
exists in your heart is a preservatives of love. Love means unconditional love for a person. Love will not last long if you fall in love with a person on
the condition that it is built on a kind of money and wealth. The purer the love is, the longer the feelings will be maintained.
Love meansexpecting nothing in return. There is a saying that "Fortune favours fools". The true meaning is to say that a people will always feel
happy if he doing thing without a purpose, which is just like love. Being a fool of love, without expecting any returns from the others, you will always
be happy.
Love means never giving up. Time is the best friend of love. Time will brew the best wine of love. Not giving up means you can get more time to
business your love, and give your love more possibilities.
Love means the possibility of losing. When you feel that you are going to lose your love, you must grasp the things you have right now, because
you are lucky enough as you once had it. If love is leaving you, do not be sad, because sometimes whatlove can teach you is just after you lost it. If you

Committed Love vs Transitory Love
Who will agree with this statement? Perhaps not that many, but love is something we will never be able to agree 100% to, the fact that we all think
different it makes the love's definition diverse. Although we want it forever, not always goes that way for everybody. As You Like It gave us some
specimens of love. It will be tough to describe in an easy way that we all understand, and be able to illuminate why love is transitory. "I pray you, do
not fall in love with me, For I am falser than vows made in wine" (Act 3, Scene 5 p3). This is a perfect example for those who think or believe that
love is transitory. Although Phebe didn't know that she was falling in love with a man's replica (Rodalind) her love perhaps was truly and sincere,
she was able to comprehend and realized that the game of love wasn't easy to be played. I think of one character from As you Like It that will agree
with this theme, that person was Orlando, because he tells his brother Oliver "I have as much of my father in me as you, albeit I confess your coming
before me is earer to his reverence." Act 1, Scene1, Lines 49–51. That was the way Orlando was able to describe love, his inner was fighting to make
him feel that love was momentarily, although he discovered a loyal love, he was able to see the two different point of views, his approach to love was
different when he met Rosalind, he was able to have both

Love and relationships
Love is a significant aspect in people's lives that requires commitment and attention. Despite the many assumptions on love, it is important to
understand that happiness in love comes from sharing not only the good but also the bad. In order to have a successful relationship, there is need to
understand that love requires sacrifices as well as endeavoring to cultivate love for mutual benefit. If true love existed in the world, there would be no
need for divorce.
Everyone who desires to have a family normally dreams to have a happy relationship that is founded on love. This love in turn breeds optimism and
fondness for each other which can be envious to many. Therefore, love is significant aspect in every human being that demands a lot of commitment
and attention. However, for any relationship to work, it requires more than just feelings of closeness and promises to live together with one another
with a commitment to ideals of a relationship. It is also good to note that in order to form a trusting and positive relationship that is characterized by
love takes effort and time. When the partners are able to differentiate facts from their feelings, they are able to see their partners in a more clear way
and not through filters of weaknesses they have against their partners.
On the other hand, there are many arguments that dispute the existence of love and only term the relationship between partners as based on mutual
interests. Many supporters of this

Essay on Love
Much has been said about love, but if you search the horizon, you will discover that most of the things written about love are either pithy or cynical.
Society in general can be cruel and heartless toward real virtue of any kind. In the most popular venues, love is seldom dealt with with any degree of
sobriety. Modern humor mocks marriage, husbands and wives, then glorifies every conceivable breech of virtue, such as sexual immorality, profane and
obscene values.
Real love is a mystery to most people. Most people never realize the true potential or value of love, nor do they learn to practice the art of love. It is
usually very poorly defined. People think they are in love, but they can't explain it. There is a great deal of confusion...show more content...
Romance is different from love, even though ideally, they should occur together. Romance is the emotionalcomponent of love. Romance adds the
sparkle in your eyes. Romance adds the perfume and the colors. Romance embellishes the scenery and swells the music. Romance is the gilding of
love. Romance is gold leaf. It is ornamentation. Romance sometimes becomes a means unto itself. It even becomes a cheap substitute for love at
times. Some people seem to desire the trappings and embellishments of romance in place of genuine relationships. By comparison, romance is
superficial to love. Romance is skin deep. Love is heart deep. Romance requires things that love does not require. Romance requires gifs and surprises
and lavish attention. Romance sometimes demands things that contradict love. Romance is offended when the gold leaf wears off. Romance
condemns love that is not eye–pleasing. Romance often injures and denigrates true love because love doesn't always appeal to romance's selfishness.
Love is for givers, not getters. Those who demand to be loved before they will love shouldn't be surprised if no one gives them love. Lovers live in a
world of giving. The getters, the ones who are looking for love, is a different world. We have a duty to love, but we have no guarantees that we will be
loved. We have it in our power to love, but we have no power to force others to love us. It is folly to spend life demanding love from

Different Types of Love Essay
"Love does not begin and end the way we seem to think it does. Love is a battle, love is a war; love is a growing up." –James A. Baldwin. The author,
Baldwin talks about the fact that we assume love starts once you meet that person and it ends when you die, but love is everlasting and is a part of
you from the very beginning. In his quote he also says that we will face different types of love, while growing up. Films are made about it, books,
songs, and poems are written. Artists draw, paint and sculpt from inspiration of it and people spend their entire lives waiting for it. In dictionaries love
is defined as a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection but it is more than just a deep connection. Its more than deep connections...show

This is why mother sends out more of a warm fuzzy feeling than the father. Family love is the type of love that every human being encounters
throughout his or her lifetime. It's the very first and less painful type of love. Parental love isn't the only part of family love. Sibling love is a big
part to. Sibling rivalry starts when the second child is born and the 1st child starts to feel alienated and abandoned. Even though siblings are like
archenemies, they have the most caring love. Since they are closer through blood, they have the ability to protect each other and fight for each other.
Another main type of love is the love that is felt towards friends. This love is felt less when younger because when you are younger you are
accompanied more by parental love and attention. But when grown older, parents become busier that the kid will start creating their own bonds and
connections with other children their age. This would start a friendship. After people make new friends they start to become more dependent and more
trusting until they feel like they are one person with their friend. Having common interests, similar history, common values, and equality draws people
to be together as friends. Psychologically when one friend feels pain the other friend feels it because of the bond created between them. In their mind
they have automatically "connected" themselves with that person. But friendship is the hardest to find because you're not

Love conquers all. That's what we hear over and over again growing up. Everyone longs for that one amazing person to waltz into our lives and steal
our hearts for the rest of eternity, but is it possible that love will be strong enough to face any problem that gets in our way? T. Coraghessan Boyle
once said "As strong as love might be, there is always something stronger that could come along and shatter it" (After).
T. Coraghessan Boyle was born in 1948 as Thomas John Boyle in Peekskill, New York. When Boyle went to college he never dreamed that one day
he would have a major in Literature. He originally went to major in music as an aspiring saxophone player at SUNY Potsdam ("Auteur"). "That did

China did not tell anyone about the baby except Jeremy. They went to two different colleges and that they would deal with the baby when it was
time for China to give birth. When China's water broke she called Jeremy and they went to a motel. Jeremy delivered the baby girl and China told
him to "get rid of it" so he threw the baby in the dumpster outside (Boyle 387). They left the motel and went back to the college as if nothing ever
happened. The police came the next morning and arrested both China and Jeremy. China and her parents decided to place the blame on Jeremy by
allowing everyone to think that China had believed she had miscarried, and Jeremy acted alone on dumping the breathing child into the dumpster. This
enormous problem eventually led to the downfall of China and Jeremy's relationship.
Boyle gets his ideas for his stories in many different ways, some can be from him just walking down the street and an idea pops into his head,
others ideas come when he is watching television or reading a book. Boyle got the idea to write "The Love of My Life" from a case he read in the
newspaper (After). The case was about a murder investigation involving Amy S. Grossberg and Brian C. Peterson for the murder of their new born
baby boy. Grossberg delivered the baby at a Comfort Inn in Newark, Delaware, in November 1996 ("Amy"). Grossberg was assisted by her boyfriend
Brian Peterson. Peterson threw the baby in the dumpster. In March1998, Peterson

Essays in Love
Essays in Love is a novel about two young people, who meet on an airplane between London and Paris and rapidly fall in love. The structure of the
story isn't unusual, but what lends the book its interest is the extraordinary depth with which the emotions involved in the relationship are analysed.
Love comes under the philosophical microscope. An entire chapter is devoted to the nuances and subtexts of an initial date. Another chapter mulls over
the question of how and when to say 'I love you'. There's an essay on how uncomfortable it can be to disagree with a lover's taste in shoes and a

What is love? The type of love I'm describing is the one that gives you butterflies when a certain person comes to mind. Just seeing that particular
person can be enough to make one smile and make your day and all the worries go away. Right now that person comes to mind. It's neither a crush nor
infatuation and many are willing to do anything for this thing that is called love. Love can hurt in the long run, and people can also be blinded by it.
Those who are ready to be loved have to ask themselves if there are emotionally ready for. Many people put up walls to guard their "heart" from being

Definition Essay About Love
Love is difficult to define. The dictionary describes the emotion as an intense feeling of deep attraction, but what does that mean? The feeling is so
complex and unique it would take a million words to describe. To each person, love can be a different feeling, a different experience, a different idea.
Each person has felt love at least once in a lifetime; the love of something or someone, loving or being loved. The word "love" is extraordinarily
difficult to define because each person experiences it differently, but it must be experienced to be understood.Emotion is said to be energy in motion.
The emotion "love" is powerful; it drives people to act in profound and unexplainable ways. All reason can be lost, all logic defied, and what is left is
an overwhelming urge to do something drastic. Love can make people quit their job and fly halfway across the country or risk their life to run into a
burning building. Love's meaning runs deeper than the roots of a dictionary definition.
Age significantly changes how one views love. The way teens view love is drastically different from that of an adult with a lifetime of experience. In

This same disregard for a spouse with whom you are lacking truly love is also present in the marriage of Anna. She does not love her husband and

of people who remain in non loving relationships, where one spouse ends up disrespecting the other, thus demonstrating the importance of terminating
such relationships.
In a relationship or marriage, which is deficient of true love, the unhappy spouse is constantly seeking a means to escape and adventure. This
phenomenon is present in the case of Anna, where she does not love her husband so she feels the need to leave her husband for a period of time
and lie to him in order to do so. In a conversation with Dmitri, she tells him about her desperation to leave her husband and how it lead her into
deceiving him, “I could not be restrained. I told my husband I was ill, and came here…';(178). When love is true, one wants
to be with their spouse and not feel the need to leave their side, which is the way Anna feels. Similarly Dmitri, due to his lack of love for his wife felt
compelled to desert his wife and consequently seek adventure. His adventures and happiness were rooted in his affairs, which he perpetually had with
new women. From these two examples we see the ramifications of remaining in a relationship lacking true love.

Today, I will be explaining the five basic forms of love languages. They are: physical touch, act of service, words of affirmation, quality time, and
receiving gifts. They each represent different characteristics of love people use in a relationship. Some may be used more than others. This is
depending on the type of person you are as well as, the person you are in a relationship with. They have a survey that a person can take that explain
the type of loving person you are. This survey is useful for the reason that it gives a brief summary of how much a person uses the five different love

A close–knit loving bond between two people can begin with a friendship. Whether it is a friendship between two males, two females, or one male and

move away or friendships may wane, but the love between the two people burns on forever.
Romantic love is a love that not every person will experience. It is a type of love that is not there at the beginning, but grows within the individual.
When one finally finds the love they have been looking for, one can not imagine life with anybody else. Romantic love is a connection between two
souls that is captured with a feeling that is not only felt within the heart but within their body as well. I have never been in love with a girl; I can
only imagine what it might be like to be in love. Guessing from my sister's relationship with boys, it seems like a big headache instead of a wonderful
feeling.
To simply write a definition of love is complicated because every person has a different perception of love. The only way to capture the true meaning
of love is to experience the feeling and find out for oneself, what love is. In our lives and the lives of others, love is evident. Whether it is between
family, friends, or lovers, love is a precious

What is Love? Essay
Love, Love, Love. We all think about it, dream about it, sing about it, and even lose sleep worrying about it, but why? Love is such a small word
paired with a vital meaning. It's universal, easy to spell, difficult to define, but impossible to live without. When we don't have it, we search for it,
when we find it, we don't know what to do with it, when we have it, we fear losing it. Love is the constant source of happiness and sorrow. I am young
and I haven't a clue as to what love is, let alone what falling in love is. However, I have my ideas of what love is like. I have never witnessed the
beauty of people falling in love, or the severity of those falling out of love, so what is love?
Love in general could be frightening. Some...show more content...
I think falling in love with someone happens when you least expect it to, when you're too busy focusing on other aspects of your life. This is
where fate comes into play. That specific person was led to you for some unknown reason. Out of the blues, it's like your knight in shining amour
that you have longed to be with finally found his/her way to you. There are people in this world that think they may never fall in love again. You fall
at times, but you get back up. You will love again, and you will also trust again. You have to simply let things get themselves done, that's when you
know it's meant to be, because destiny took its course, and while you were too busy doing something else, the love of your life came along.
Love dates way back to when the world began. In reality, we really have no idea what love truly is. Raising questions like, is it even real? We watch
love movies, read romance novels, but that's the sugar–coated, sweet and simple version of it. Meeting someone, fall in love, get married, have kids,
spend the rest of your lives together. What about the suffering we have to endure when falling in love? Risking everything for that one person? And
even when we feel we've reached the end of the road, this person has the power to leave us at any given moment. We put ourselves out there with the
chance they can break us apart.
Love, as it is with everything,

Essay About Love And Person

  • 1. Essay about Love and Person Love has a definition–a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person–but yet has so many different meanings. Thesauruscoping demonstrates the different meanings in which the word Love can deliver. The synonym of Love, Adoration, does not necessarily mean that these words have the same meaning. The definition of Adoration is the act of paying honor, as to a divine being or to worship. These words can be isolated from each other by meaning because they are two different descriptions. Love is an emotion and Adoration is a way of acting towards another. For example, there may be someone who loves to go to church every Sunday, being a part of their daily routine, but has adoration for God, meaning to worship and pay honor to what...show more content... This kind of Love that is being expressed is illustrating the emotional kind of love towards another person rather than an object. Loving an object rather than a person is different because an object doesn't reveal emotion and personality, nothing but the physical features. Emotion and personality are the major components of why a person loves another, but physical attraction is also a reason but very minor. By analyzing the different ways in which Love can be used, the distinctive meanings of this word is additionally known. Personification is the method in which a certain emotion is given a human–like quality. There are endless numbers of ways in which Love can be personified. Love is used and/or seen in a person's every day life. Love is a person that is seen to be always happy–go–lucky, full of life, and caring about other people rather than himself. Love texts his girlfriend saying "goodnight" before he sleeps and "good morning" as soon as he wakes. He comes to her home, knocks on the door, and brings flowers and soup when his girlfriend is sick. Love is not able to sleep at night, knowing that his loved one is out with her friends; because he is afraid something will happen to her and would die if he lost her, emotionally or physically. He calls her back after she hangs up on him because of a silly argument that was Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Love Is A Powerful Feeling Essay Love is a powerful feeling; it makes you do crazy thing. Many people spend years trying to find it, others give up thinking they'll never find it. Love has been defined as an intensive feeling of a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone. Of course, Love doesn 't have to romantic and/or sexual. People who are ace, as in asexual, aromantic and agender, can still be in relationships that are satisfying for them without the needs of a romantic relationship. Familial love is also non–romantic–sexual. However, in this paper, we will be talking about romantic–sexual love, what it is, and why I believe it's so important to understand and experience. Like I mentioned in the paragraph above love is usually defined as an intensive feeling of a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone, however love is a bit more complicated than that. Love is special, it's unique in it's attitude and behavioral components, it's a phenomenon that eludes easy definition (Our Sexuality, 2012). Love has always been a complicated subject; sometimes love is fickle, sometimes love isn't love, but rather pure infatuation. Infatuation is often mistaken for love, however it is only a short lived but intense passion for someone. It's possible that since many infatuations are mistaken love that many researches regarding the measurements of love would include individuals infatuated with each other. In one possible case, a man named Zick Rubin wished to measure love and liking. He set up 13 questions Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Essay on Love Poems Love Poems Have the love poems, you have read given you a better insight into the emotion of love? The subject of 'Love Poetry' has given rise to some of the most beautiful and fascinating poetry. The poets illustrate their feelings, or the feelings of the people concerned with them through the use of figurative language. Alove poem is not necessarily a poem about romantic love, about romance, marriage and commitment; it could be something else entirely. It seems to be Universal. Timeless. Yet, it's also very individual, filtered by our own lives and expectations. Love can be a different thing for each one of us. Not all love poems deal with happy positive sides of love but there is also the negative sides such as pain,...show more content... 'do not grieve' , she does not want her lover to feel that her love is possessive, she does not want him to feel guilty. She wants him to cherish good times that they had, 'forget and smile'. The tone throughout is melancholy and emotional as the poet talks about her approaching death. The sonnet form is suitably used because the poet is telling her husband on how death will take over their love. She accepts death in a philosophical manner. Although she is physically dead she wants to be remembered. Christina Rossetti shows us how death can bring a blissful relationship to an end, but she also shows that love can exist even after death if it has withstood the test of time. She repeats the title 'remember' throughout the poem as a technique to emphasize that she really wants to be remembered. Poet Rossetti wants to be remembered by her love even if 'darkness and corruption leave'. Yet her love is unselfish. Here a poem by Christina Rossetti's, 'A Birthday', is a contrast to 'Remember'. Throughout this poem Rossetti expresses happy contented feelings, through her beautiful use of imagery. Nature imagery is used in the first half of the poem, ' heart is like a singing bird' , 'heart is like a rainb The title 'A Birthday' is not represented with love at all, but as we read the poem, we come to know that 'A Birthday' is new life, because she is in love.

  • 5. Essay On Romantic Love Love is an abundant emotion that has different degrees. There is familial love, friendly love, unconditional love, and of course romantic love. Romantic love will be the superstar of this article. Romantic love may be around every corner whether between an old couple or a young teenage romance. However, love is not the easiest thing to attain. It is such a simple concept, though a difficult thing to actually have a person's hands on. Most people nowadays will yearn for something more commonly known as true love. True love can be explained in a sense that it is a person we may or may not consider as a soul mate. According to said research, vital things to a deep kind of love are physical attraction and a certain level of intimacy, which follow through with companionship that you feel towards the other person. The following can lead to difficulty because, in a sense, people of today are inclined towards an ideal view of romance. People are blinded by what they see in the media and relate whatever Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Definition Essay About Love When we talk about love, most people think that love is the high mood, the abundant feeling and the vigorous event. But, what is the true love? Which kind of love is the one which we really need? Some people say that love is a feeling which is a natural expression when you meet the opposite sex with your admiration. Sometimes love is active, but sometimes it is passive. When love comes to you, you will act like you were the host of love with the capacity to controlling the direction of your love and guiding it move forward to where you want it to go. Of course, it would be admired if someone can control his love. But when you are played in a passive role, the last thing you can do is just obedience. In fact, love is a thing between the two...show more content... Most Chinese people are not good at speaking and showing their love. In fact, speaking one's love loudly and lettingthe your lover know that he/she exists in your heart is a preservatives of love. Love means unconditional love for a person. Love will not last long if you fall in love with a person on the condition that it is built on a kind of money and wealth. The purer the love is, the longer the feelings will be maintained. Love meansexpecting nothing in return. There is a saying that "Fortune favours fools". The true meaning is to say that a people will always feel happy if he doing thing without a purpose, which is just like love. Being a fool of love, without expecting any returns from the others, you will always be happy. Love means never giving up. Time is the best friend of love. Time will brew the best wine of love. Not giving up means you can get more time to business your love, and give your love more possibilities. Love means the possibility of losing. When you feel that you are going to lose your love, you must grasp the things you have right now, because you are lucky enough as you once had it. • 7. An Essay About Love Vs. Love Essay Jaqueline Chavez Dec. 10, 2016 Essay # 4 Mr. Russell Committed Love vs Transitory Love Who will agree with this statement? Perhaps not that many, but love is something we will never be able to agree 100% to, the fact that we all think different it makes the love's definition diverse. Although we want it forever, not always goes that way for everybody. As You Like It gave us some specimens of love. It will be tough to describe in an easy way that we all understand, and be able to illuminate why love is transitory. "I pray you, do not fall in love with me, For I am falser than vows made in wine" (Act 3, Scene 5 p3). This is a perfect example for those who think or believe that love is transitory. Although Phebe didn't know that she was falling in love with a man's replica (Rodalind) her love perhaps was truly and sincere, she was able to comprehend and realized that the game of love wasn't easy to be played. I think of one character from As you Like It that will agree with this theme, that person was Orlando, because he tells his brother Oliver "I have as much of my father in me as you, albeit I confess your coming before me is earer to his reverence." Act 1, Scene1, Lines 49–51. That was the way Orlando was able to describe love, his inner was fighting to make him feel that love was momentarily, although he discovered a loyal love, he was able to see the two different point of views, his approach to love was different when he met Rosalind, he was able to have both Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. A Love Story Essays I met her two years ago and we did not have much to say at that time. Little did I know that she would later steal my heart and become an intimate part of my life. As the saying goes "there is someone for anyone at any time in this life" and I was about to find out that this saying was so true. I have had a wall built around me and my defense was as a stronghold to protect myself from all the relationships that have come and gone over the years. I thought that I was meant to be alone in this old life and happiness was forever gone from me. This wonderful woman I am speaking of is Mary Doe, and the joy she has given me has revived my hope and faith that I may have finally found love and peace within. She has made me feel like I am a child...show more content... "People will only try to take advantage of you if you open the door for them to do so". "Be strong, be independent, and above all love, love, love when you find someone worthy of your love". Even my dreams consist of her. Last night I dreamed that I was riding out on the open range and after around three hours just riding and enjoying the peace and quite of being away from everything I noticed a figure walking towards me. I was not worried but just curious as to who it may be. When I drew nearer I could tell it was a woman. I thought to myself why is she out here all alone and walking. This was horse country and there was nothing for miles around that she could walk too. When we finally came face to face I could see that she was crying and that tears were coming down and such a sad look on her face. I dismounted and asked if "I may be of any help? She began to cry all the much harder and tried to talk but her emotions had the best of her. I took a chance and put my arms around her and let her cry until there seemed to be no more tears in which she would be able to shed. When she did finally look at me her eyes were so sad and I took my hand and softly brushed away the tears flowing down her cheeks. I asked if there was anything I could do for her, and she said "no, I must handle this my way". "How are you going to handle anything out here all alone and crying the way you are"? Mary Doe then looked at me and said, "you Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 10. Essay on Love Much has been said about love, but if you search the horizon, you will discover that most of the things written about love are either pithy or cynical. Society in general can be cruel and heartless toward real virtue of any kind. In the most popular venues, love is seldom dealt with with any degree of sobriety. Modern humor mocks marriage, husbands and wives, then glorifies every conceivable breech of virtue, such as sexual immorality, profane and obscene values. Real love is a mystery to most people. Most people never realize the true potential or value of love, nor do they learn to practice the art of love. It is usually very poorly defined. People think they are in love, but they can't explain it. There is a great deal of confusion...show more content... Romance is different from love, even though ideally, they should occur together. Some people seem to desire the trappings and embellishments of romance in place of genuine relationships. By comparison, romance is superficial to love. Romance is skin deep. Love is heart deep. Romance requires things that love does not require. Romance requires gifs and surprises and lavish attention. Romance sometimes demands things that contradict love. Romance is offended when the gold leaf wears off. Romance condemns love that is not eye–pleasing. Romance often injures and denigrates true love because love doesn't always appeal to romance's selfishness. Love is for givers, not getters. Those who demand to be loved before they will love shouldn't be surprised if no one gives them love. Lovers live in a world of giving. The getters, the ones who are looking for love, is a different world. We have a duty to love, but we have no guarantees that we will be loved. The author, Baldwin talks about the fact that we assume love starts once you meet that person and it ends when you die, but love is everlasting and is a part of you from the very beginning. In his quote he also says that we will face different types of love, while growing up. Films are made about it, books, songs, and poems are written. Artists draw, paint and sculpt from inspiration of it and people spend their entire lives waiting for it. Sibling rivalry starts when the second child is born and the 1st child starts to feel alienated and abandoned. Even though siblings are like archenemies, they have the most caring love. Since they are closer through blood, they have the ability to protect each other and fight for each other. Another main type of love is the love that is felt towards friends. This love is felt less when younger because when you are younger you are accompanied more by parental love and attention. But when grown older, parents become busier that the kid will start creating their own bonds and connections with other children their age. This would start a friendship. After people make new friends they start to become more dependent and more trusting until they feel like they are one person with their friend. Having common interests, similar history, common values, and equality draws people to be together as friends. Psychologically when one friend feels pain the other friend feels it because of the bond created between them. In their mind they have automatically "connected" themselves with that person. Everyone longs for that one amazing person to waltz into our lives and steal our hearts for the rest of eternity, but is it possible that love will be strong enough to face any problem that gets in our way? T. Coraghessan Boyle once said "As strong as love might be, there is always something stronger that could come along and shatter it" (After). T. They left the motel and went back to the college as if nothing ever happened. The police came the next morning and arrested both China and Jeremy. China and her parents decided to place the blame on Jeremy by allowing everyone to think that China had believed she had miscarried, and Jeremy acted alone on dumping the breathing child into the dumpster. This enormous problem eventually led to the downfall of China and Jeremy's relationship. Boyle gets his ideas for his stories in many different ways, some can be from him just walking down the street and an idea pops into his head, others ideas come when he is watching television or reading a book. Boyle got the idea to write "The Love of My Life" from a case he read in the newspaper (After). The case was about a murder investigation involving Amy S. Grossberg and Brian C. The feeling is so complex and unique it would take a million words to describe. To each person, love can be a different feeling, a different experience, a different idea. In a relationship or marriage, which is deficient of true love, the unhappy spouse is constantly seeking a means to escape and adventure. This phenomenon is present in the case of Anna, where she does not love her husband so she feels the need to leave her husband for a period of time and lie to him in order to do so. In a conversation with Dmitri, she tells him about her desperation to leave her husband and how it lead her into deceiving him, “I could not be restrained. I told my husband I was ill, and came here…';(178). When love is true, one wants to be with their spouse and not feel the need to leave their side, which is the way Anna feels. Similarly Dmitri, due to his lack of love for his wife felt compelled to desert his wife and consequently seek adventure. His adventures and happiness were rooted in his affairs, which he perpetually had with new women. From these two examples we see the ramifications of remaining in a relationship lacking true love.
