This document provides instructions for safely testing makeup materials on skin before using them for a makeup effect. It instructs the reader to test only the materials they plan to use in a well-ventilated area by the sink. Skin tests should be done on the inside of the arm and checked for irritation after a few minutes, washing immediately with soap and water if any occurs. The test area should not be used again that day. Questions are asked about allergies or existing skin conditions. Space is provided to describe the planned makeup effect and where on the body it will be. A table then lists various makeup products with space to note any skin test reactions.

a well-ventilated area, close to a sink. The skin test should be carried out on the inside of the arm
around the wrist area. You should wait a few minutes after applying the test to see if irritation
occurs. ln the case of irritation wash the skin immediately with soap and running water. Do not use
this area for any further skin tests on the same day.
