1. From Tactical to strategic thinking: picking priorities in Open Access
Jean-Claude Guédon, University of Montréal
Professor of comparative literature at the Université de Montréal. Involved in
the Open Access movement from the early 90's and one of the original
signatories of the Budapest Open Access Initiative in 2002, as well as of BOAI10
in 2012. Helped the OA movement through participation in the programme
committee of the Open Society Foundations (2002-6) and through the
Electronic Information for Libraries (eIFL 2003-7). Presently, he is a Trustee of
the Nexa Centre in Turin's Politecnico. Regularly writes and lectures on OA
matters.
