If somebody was to ask me what is the most important thing to me, i wouldn't just be able to chose one individual, rather my entire family. From
my immediate family, my grandparents, and my dogs. We aren't always around to see eachother everyday or even every month for that matter, but
when we do see each other it's like we have never missed a day of each other's life. Family is always there to talk to about something that you may be
struggling with without judgement, or to share all your successes with and they will show pride in you. Family will stay by your side in every
situation and won't run the opposite way when things go wrong.
Our family has no filters on our mouths creating each conversation to be endless, all individuals in my family are stubborn and cannot be wrong
when it comes to a situation or discussion. Together we are not afraid to try anything that most would classify as a ridiculous thing to do. We are
not afraid to say what is on our mind, we are not afraid to be loud, we are not afraid to do things that will embarrass ourselves or others. When new
people see us they will most likely classify us as crazy, but to us it's just fun.
My family is important to me because they are always the people who are up to go on a vacation, to sit by the fire for hours, to play on playgrounds
even though we are all too old to be on them, and for the countless nights that we do not remember.

For centuries, humankind has enjoyed the unconditional love and companionship of pets. Inclusively, dogs have been stated as "man's best friends."
By far, pets have become a bigger role in people's lives. Consequently, pet ownership has turned out to be more popular through the years. Owning a
pet can be one of the most rewarding experiences, but there is a fact that many individuals may not know. From what kind of places are people
obtaining their pets? The two most presumed options are narrowed down to either buying at a pet store or adopting from a shelter. Even though people
can get a pet from either option, there are many reasons why adopting is undoubtedly a smarter choice. Animal shelters serve for a bigger purpose, and
that is to help the community and its animals. Prospective pet owners should choose pet adoption because of its health, economic, and life benefits. Pet
adoption brings myriad health benefits. One of these benefits is the loyal companionship of shelter animals. GAWS shelter's acting chief executive,
Mia Shaw states, "There are big positives for a person's mental and physical wellbeing in adopting a pet – there are so many benefits to adopting a dog
or cat, including companionship and friendship" (qtd. in Sum 19). These animals help human beings physically and mentally by providing another
incentive to exercise, and by providing a steady companionship. These benefits could potentially save the lives of depressed people and improve the
lives of incapacitated people. Inclusively, shelter animals reduce stress and other health–related issues. Rescue cat owner, Lisa Barley notes, "Not only
will you benefit from the joys of a furry friend's unconditional love, but a pet can have a positive impact on your health, from helping you stay
physically active to reducing stress and lowering blood pressure" (48). Adopting a pet is much like obtaining a best friend, who will provide
unconditional love and support when the person needs it the most. Furthermore, most of the shelter animals are caged for days or even months,
resulting in being restricted from social environments. Consequently, these animals end up being friendlier when they are adopted and placed in a
steady home, unlike the ones obtained
