3. Credit Analysis
• The Credits are usually on either bottom or
top, right of left hand side of the screen.
• The names are in lower case, but the jobs
they do are in capitols- in white.
• The credits only appear when the still
images are placed on the screen. There are
no animated credits and there are no
credits during the movement parts of the
OTS.
• The filters of the photos and linear footage
is ginger to put emphasis on the title
‘Ginger Snaps’.
This is inspirational for us as
we are hoping to make an
OTS that consists of it being
non-linear as we want mainly
black and white photos of old
people, connoting that the
Ouija Board has connected
with many souls in the past.

5. Credit Analysis
• The Credits are either to the side of the page if the job they do is
minor compared to major ones, in the middle if they are the
director for example, and over the top of a picture of a person if
they are an actor/actress to illustrate that the name corresponds
to the photo, pre-showing the character before the film has
started.
• All capitols- white.
• No animation in the credits themselves, but they appear on the
screen as if they are on an old projector on a plastic sheet- like
documents.
• Newspaper/ olden black and white styled photos.
• Music is quite uncomfortable to listen to (orchestra) as it sounds
like a dying instruments being played which sound mainly all on
the same level/note/tone.
This OTS is inspirational as it shows what type of black
and white photos to have, giving us a clearer idea of
what to look for when it comes to editing the photos in.
I also like the animation of a projector as it seems like a
crime investigation or a possession film, which instantly
tells the audience what type of genre the film is.

7. Credits Analysis
• The Credits aren’t usually
touching the virus of blood that is
spreading on the page.
• All capitols- white.
• Transitions- fades.
• Not much animation in the credits
itself, but the runny liquid looks
detailed.
This OTS inspired us because at the end of our OTS, we want a
single candle to be lit with a pitch black background, and for the
flame to get blown out. This then leads to the title, which will be
created by the smoke from the flame. I thought that the liquid
here is similar to the smoke, which gives us an idea of what the
smoke would look like, and the different ways we can portray it
transforming into the title.
