It is with great enthusiasm that I submit this reference letter for Bryan Pinelli. Over the past several years, I have
come to know Bryan both professionally and personally. He is an intelligent, dedicated and success oriented
professional. He is also a very kind, caring and friendly person which makes him a natural leader. I have no doubt
given Bryan’s abilities that he will not only meet your organizations expectations, but exceed them.
In 2014, Bryan started working with the Veterans Success Center (VSC) as a leader within the Student Veteran
Organization and demonstrated incredible drive and a strong dedication to serving Sacramento State students. He led
by example and people found his enthusiasm and dedication both inspiring and motivating. Bryan has the unique
ability to forge authentic relationships with those around him which will serve him well in his academic and
professional pursuits. He has a very strong theoretical foundation in a variety of counseling techniques. What is most
impressive is how he can weave his theoretical knowledge with practical application while assisting a diverse array
of clients.
As President of the Student Veteran Organization Bryan implemented a robust student organization that has been
recognized at the national level. To ensure the organizations success, Bryan collaborated with other departments on
Sacramento State’s campus, creating new networks to better serve students. To this end, he has demonstrated his
ability to work on a team and work well with others. Bryan has also developed and executed marketing strategies for
events, workshops, and participant outreach aimed at increasing organizational membership, which was important to
the growth and sustainability of the Student Veterans Organization.
