My name is Ashley Keefover and I have a passion for working with youth,
specifically victims of human trafficking and domestic violence. I am a
credentialed minister in the state of Kansas, I have experience in counseling and
leading children, youth, and young adults, and I have recently completed my
Masters Degree in Human Services Counseling at Regent University. My
relationship with Christ continually leads me to help others and has given me a
desire to bring hope to a lost and hurting world. I believe that God has saved me
for more than myself, to draw people towards the redemption and reconciliation
that is found in Christ alone.
Through my Masters program at Regent, I developed skills in individual
and group counseling as well as gaining an awareness of multicultural counseling.
Through my undergraduate degree from Southwestern Assembly of God
University, I gained valuable skills such as: developing discipleship curriculums
for students and leaders, directing others as Head Resident Assistant in my dorm,
and spiritually mentoring my peers and fellow resident assistants. Through my
current job at MBCH Children and Family Ministries, I have worked with children
and youth with behavioral disorders, focusing on treatment plans and relational
development.
I believe in doing everything to the best of my ability, and I feel that I
would bring a passionate heart and enthusiastic spirit. The majority of my
counseling experience has been spent working with children or youth, and I desire
to play a part in raising up the next generation to become a powerful, healthy, and
independent people who will contribute to their surrounding community.
