The document discusses ideas for a print advertisement for a refugee camp charity. The proposed ad would focus on a child in poor conditions at a refugee camp with the word "HELP" as a subheading to garner sympathy and encourage donations. It argues that such an ad would be successful because donating makes people feel good about helping others in need and brings them joy. The ad aims to appeal to audiences who want to help suffering people and refugees.

The clients are Happy Foundation, their job is to help people that are miserable and struggling to be happy and positive.
The audience are the ones who want to help people from different parts of the world and, also make them smile and feel good
about themselves because their helping thousands of people.
They are good ideas because that's the only way to announce their, for example products, games, and donation to their target
audience.
I've learned is that advertisements from companies that are charity organisation such as UNICEF for example, showing you children
from Africa suffering from lack of water and some die as a result, these charities are trying to convince the audience to donate to
their organisation, which is the only why that they can help them is by showing them the suffering that have to endure.
The things that I liked about adverts that I watched is they tell you by what’s happening in different parts of the world such as
SaveTheChildren, which they show us how children along with their families who have no choice but fleeing from their homes
because of war in result leaving their home country as refuges. I would not challenge these adverts because they are very good to
explain through of what’s going on and I’m going to base my advert on that.

My idea for my print advert is a refugee camp charity advert. The description of my print advert is a child will be the focus of my
advert and the child will be in the middle of the advert. The background will be the poor conditions of a refugee camp, this will
garner more sympathy to the audience and even possibly, donate to the organisation and lastly, subheading of the advert will be
the word ''HELP!'' this I think will attract even more audience to see what the advert is all about and even possibly garner even
more sympathy to the audience who families who are living in these harsh conditions.
I prefer to illustrate my ideas through a PowerPoint rather than sketching it because I’m not really a good sketcher myself and I
finish my work faster through typing in a PowerPoint than through sketching in my opinion.
3. Rationale Answers
The idea that I want to base on the charity advert from SaveTheChildren called ‘I Am The Future’.
What they have done is a girl walking and explaining the struggle she faced in the past and the
background always changes to different places as she is telling us her journey of her struggles
to finally be in a safe place. The idea that I think is the best one is how the background changes to a
different places and events that girl went through and I apricate the creativity from their part.

The advert will make people smile because by donating to the charity organisations, they know that
they are helping thousands of people who are struggling with famine, water shortage, and even
adopting a child who got left behind by their biological parents. This advert a successful because
it will be for a good cause and it will encourage people to donate to help people who are
less fortunate, and they will apricate us by giving them food, clothing, and a safe place to live.
The advert will appeal to the audience because there is people out there who want to donate to
charity to help those people who are suffering in their daily lives such as famine, water shortage,
fleeing from war and making them smile because they are helping thousands of people.
4. Production and Sunderland Mental Health
I have learned a lot from this research and sort of taught me how to stay happy and
be who I am and it will defiantly help me with my ideas for my production because I
know what I'll be doing for my production.
Their is an article that talks about how to reduce stress, that such article is called
''Stress: Ways to Ease Stress". The article talks about how to overcome stress in the
healthy way such as exercise regularly, eat healthy, and stop using tobacco and
nicotine products.
Sunderland mental health: According to the website called Chrysalis Courses, that
one in five residents who are over 18 suffer from mental health issues. This is in
fact, the highest in whole of Britain.
A mental health charity in the area has also said that it now sees 350 people per
month who display a range of mental health problems. However Dorothy Gardiner,
project manager of Sunderland Mind, says that despite seeing ''more people
coming through the doors than ever before'', the facility has seen funds cut by
£12,000 in last year.
5. 5 things that makes people happy
1) Be curious:
People should fall in love of trying new things from time to time and experience the world around them. In a article from 'The Guardian', it argues that the case of curiosity might have
an intrinsic link to a happier existence.
In The Guardian it reads ''We think of curiosity as openness to exploring one's environment, being broad-minded and being open to new experiences and learning opportunities'' says
Professor Dr Maria Kangas of Macquarie University's department of Psychology.
2) Experience life:
If you're are the type of person who wants to be happy and feel good about yourself, you need to get out and experience life by going to the park, riding a bike, going out with friends,
and going somewhere that you've never been before yourself, for example going to a different country.
Dr Thomas Gilovich, a psychology professor at Cornell University, has been studying the effects of experience on happiness for two decades. Gilovich says ''Our experiences are a
bigger part of ourselves than our material goods. You can really like your material stuff. You can even think that part of your identity is connected to those things, but nonetheless
they remain separate from you. In contrast, your experiences really are part of you. We are the sum total of our experiences.''
3) Laugh every day:
When someone laughs, you release happy hormones called oxytocin and endorphins. These are hormones that uplifts everyone as we share experiences with others, even if its just a
smile it will make your day.
4) Do what you love:
By doing the things that you love to do is an other way to make you smile. If you like for example listening to music, playing sports, reading a book, and working out don't hesitate to
do those kinds of activities if that makes you feel happy and feel better about yourself.
5) Avoid regrets:
We know that we weren't born perfect and mistakes happen in life, which is normal and part of our human nature. However, with a little forethought, you can avoid making those
mistakes and forgive yourself and others because everyone else just trying to get through life that best they can. Just stay focus more on the happy things that you do in your life.
6. TV advert idea
My idea will be on about a charity awareness of refugee camps. It will
start with showing the camps and how they are struggling with the
conditions of the camps, those struggles are food shortages, winter,
and war. All what they want is to move to another country so that they
can live in a safe country with food, clothes, and warmth. This is a good
idea because by donating to the charity organisation thus helping
people who are struggling in other parts of the world, will make people
smile because they know they are helping another person, which
makes their day.
7. Is it successful?
I think my print advertisement will be successful because the main goal
for the advertisement is to help the people who are struggling with
living in harsh conditions in a refugee camp and they need our help to
survive the harsh conditions and even possibly, move to another
country to seek better lives. Also, this advertisement will make people
because smile because they are helping another families and makes
them know that what they are doing is helpful makes them good about
their selves.
8. Is it the right idea?
My idea for the print advert is right for the clients and their needs
because my idea has a good intention, which is to the people who are
suffering in different parts of the world and the clients will like the idea
because this print advert is for a good cause and likely will approve the
idea. The evidence for this is from the article about '5 things that
makes people smile' and one of the facts is do what you love, if
donating makes you feel good about yourself and it is the thing that
you love to do, you shouldn’t hesitate to click the donate button if it
makes you smile.
9. Will it be appealing?
This advert will appeal to the right audience because there is some
people out there who want to help the needy or the ones who
struggling to survive the harsh conditions of being at refugee camps
and escaping from war. This will make the audience the feel to donate
to the charity organisation and helping them to achieve their goals to
save lives and giving them hope that they will get out to a much safer
environment. Another achievement is to make people smile and feel
good about themselves because they are helping another soul from
their problems, every time they donate and click the 'donate' button.
