CAREER & SKILL HIGHLIGHTS
Leadership: Directed Mass Casualty exercise with the City of Enid, OK Emergency Operations Center
(EOC), Garfield County EOC, and Vance AFB, OK EOC. This exercise culminated in valuable lessons learned
and logistical challenges that were overcome when dealing with multiple agencies.
Management: Managed multiple Flight Safety Programs simultaneously (Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard
Program, Mid Air Collision Avoidance Program, and Mishap Investigation Program). All programs were
successfully managed with no loss of aircraft or aircrew.
Trend Analysis: Developed and maintained database to keep track of aircraft maintenance issues that are
outside two standard deviations. The trend analysis program allowed statistically driven recommendations
2. in regards to preventative maintenance, enhancements to time change requirements, and prevented
possible catastrophic failures that could cause loss of life or aircraft.
Scheduling: Utilized maintenance management skill set to schedule the appropriate technicians needed
for 24 hour operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Scheduled and planned downtime of aircraft for
hourly and phased inspections.
Logistics: Ensured all personnel were up to date on all training, medical clearances , and security
clearances for numerous wartime deployments to the Middle East.
Safety Focused: Monitored safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and
regulations maintaining a safe airfield. Maintenance Member on Safety Investigation Board for jet aircraft
compressor stall induced flameouts and a member on a Safety Investigation Board for trainer aircraft
engine catastrophic failure.
Risk Management: Used risk assessment matrix to document all aircraft mishaps, processes of failure, and
made logical recommendations to reduce risk.
Continuity: Developed Continuity Program that had step by step procedures of all Flight Safety duties. This
was accomplished to ensure ease of transfer of duties with no loss of information.
