MONTH
May 2017

2. Patrick has been with Drake since November
2016 and has been an asset to both Penrose
and Auckland City. He has worked this month
alone with 3 different clients for 3 very different
roles, Barista, Warehouse night shift worker
and Freezer labourer. He is happy to take on
any role offered and all clients he works with
gives great feedback about his reliability and
hard work ethic. He is a great guy who is eager
and willing to learn, which makes him a
valuable candidate to us here at Drake.

work; he is a team player that always seems to
have a smile on his face. When we require a
temp we know that we can rely on Patrick to
come and slot straight with the team. I look

3. This month we select Melanie Rose –
she has been a longest standing temp.
She has been working with the Council
this past year as an EA to the General
Manager. Mel has done such a fabulous
job that they just keep it as business as
usual even though by now you would
have thought she would have been
given a full time contract. Melanie is
one super efficient lady who is warm,
friendly and happy to work on her own
or as a team member – she represents
Drake really well and we are very lucky
to have her on our team.

4. Musiya is our Temp of the
Month. He is a pick packer who
has been with us for a little over
a year. In this year the only days
he has missed were the public
holidays. He is extremely
reliable and a great hard worker.
He has worked at two sites for
us and the supervisors and
managers all think very highly
of him. Keep up the awesome
work Musiya!

5. Meli has been working for Drake
since 2015 as a picker/packer at
multiple companies, most
recent at Heath World NZ
Limited. Our clients describe
him as an exceptional worker
who is very dedicated and
reliable. He’s always happy to
do anything for anyone and give
everything a go. That’s why Meli
deserves temp of the month for
all his hard work.

6. Our Temp of the Month goes to
Kelvin. He is a Forkhoist/Yard person
for our clients Spotless and Venerdi.
Kelvin is extremely flexible and
willing to work at different places,
different times to help our branch
and our clients out. He has been
temping with us off and on since
2014 in a variety of roles. Thanks
Kelvin for being so flexible and
reliable and for doing a great job.

7. Our temp of the month for May is
Fraser Thomas who is a Chef at
multiple sites around Wellington.
Fraser is reliable and happy to help
out wherever and in whatever roles
meaning he really is the ‘Jack of all
trades’. Fraser has been working as a
Drake temp for years and is a great
example of a hard worker and reliable
person.

8. Ezra has been with Drake
Christchurch since August 2016 and has
been in the same placement at NZ Brick
where he is now a valued part of the team.
Ezra has never had a sick day since being
with Drake and always been at work on time
or well before he is due to start. Not only
has Ezra been our longest standing temp
with NZ Brick they can’t rave enough about
him. Ezra always has a smile on his face
and is willing to help out where needed
whether it be teaching new temps their role
or helping unload / re load the trucks on
site he always goes above and beyond.

9. Steven has been employed as a general
labourer for the Palmerston North City
Council the last couple of months. He works
in all weathers and never has a complaint.

award. I am thrilled to see recognition for
one’s efforts and in Steve’s case this is
more than deserved. Since joining the team
here at Palmerston North City Council,
Steve’s work ethic has been nothing short of
exemplary. He has fit into the environment
with ease and now works with minimal
instruction and supervision. I wish Steve all

10. We have selected Robert as star
for the month as he has all along
been working well at Fonterra and
has been a very reliable temp for
Fonterra and Drake.
He has been performing well and
we have always received positive
feedback from his supervisor.
Robert also has the potential to
going permanent very shortly.
On a whole, he has been great
value to Drake & Fonterra.

11. Elijah is our Temp of the
Month for May. This is
because he is a very hard
working temp who never
misses a day! Elijah always
arrives to work on time and
he is such a great role
model to new starters.

Isikeli. We have chosen Isikeli
as he has good attendance and
pick rate. He is such a great
Temp that he is now being
considered for a Permanent

for May. His Manager, Dave
Fraser has been really
impressed with Garth and his
work ethic and has made a
welcome addition to the team
at Firth since arriving there.

14. Our temp of the month is Rima Wihongi who is working
for us at Green Valley.
Our client has nominated Rima as in the short time he
has been there he has picked things up really quickly,
is exceptionally good at what he does and is very
