NextGen Data Center
World Wide Technology’s NextGen Data Center
Lab is a living demo and POC environment in
our Advanced Technology Center. It serves to
connect the physical and virtual components of
the Software-Defined Data Center. Its origins lie
in a fully functioning end-to-end Active/Active
Data Center that includes technologies like EMC
VPLEX, EMC VNX, VMware Stretch Clusters,
Cisco OTV and LISP. This foundation provides
an agile platform on which we could place
the complete VMware vCloud Suite including
fully integrated products like VMware vCloud
Automation Center 6.0, vCenter Operations
Manager 5.8 and EMC ViPR. Through this
simulated environment, customers can
experience the management of an end-to-end,
software-defined enterprise.
