4. Company Overview
Breet Construction is one of the leading privately owned Construction
companies in Mpumalanga. The Company has an annual turnover in excess
of R300 Million. Breet Construction employs 200 permanent staff
members and has the capability to deliver a wide range of complex
projects to a very diverse market.
Breet Construction started as a family owned Maintenance and Civil
Construction Company in 1985 and was located at Sappi Ngodwana for 20
years under the name Master Civil Contractors
All operations at Sappi Ngodwana where terminated in April 2004.
Breet Construction entered the commercial construction sector in
Nelspruit in 2005 because the area was experiencing a property boom
period.
We operate mainly in the building sector comprising of high rise structures,
commercial and housing projects. We also have the capability to engage in
the Civil and Earthworks sectors.

8. 2.4 Plant and Equipment resources
To keep up with ever increasing improvement of technology Breet
Construction has over the past years invested heavily in acquiring state of
the art equipment to produce optimally and efficiently in order to minimize
cost and increase efficiency.
We currently own 3 Tower Cranes, 12 Ton Flatbed truck with 8 Ton hi-ab, 8
Ton flatbed truck, 12 Ton tipper truck, various LDV’s, Tele-handler, dumpers,
conveyors, 20 Ton Excavator, Backhoe x 2, Skidsteer x 2, Compressors x 2,
standby generators, 1500 m² of Peri Soffit formwork and Scaffolding.
9. SHEQ Management (Safety Health
Environment Quality)
Health & Safety
Breet Construction is committed to ensuring that every worker that reports
for duty at the beginning of his shift goes home to his family at the end of
the shift without injury, through our on-site induction programs and safety
training. At Breet Construction Safety is non-negotiable and anyone who
does not conform will be removed from site. As far as safety legislation is
concerned it is regarded as a minimum standard for the company.

Breet Construction has committed itself to complying with all legislation
related to Safety and the Environment and through constant training it is
expected from all employees to comply.
Quality
Breet Construction has developed a Quality assurance plan which is adapted
to each individual project. Through training and intense development we
strive to constantly raise our performance and increase the quality of our
projects on an ongoing basis.
