Building Attendant
Currently responsible for maintaining over twenty buildings for Lumos Networks
as a Contractor located in various areas such as: Danville, Lynchburg, Radford,
Blacksburg, Covington, Daleville, and the surrounding areas. All of these
buildings require maintenance that I take care of myself or outsource to other
companies to ensure the buildings are meeting all requirements of our
employees and building inspectors. Mowing over half of these buildings is
another part of my responsibilities along with fixing all trouble tickets logged for
my coverage area.

Laborer/Operator
Responsibilities were to pothole for the operator when close to underground
utilities as well as be a spotter. Laid over 2,000 feet of various size drain pipe for
different jobs. When operating equipment, I would load dump trucks, cut out
banks to meet rough grade, and then get the rough grade down to finish grade
with a D7 dozer. During this job I operated numerous pieces of equipment such
2. as: 305 E Mini Excavator, 285 Skid Steer, 245L Excavator, 725 Articulated Dump
Truck (Off-road), and a D7 Dozer.

Laborer/Beginner Operator
My responsibilities was to ensure the crew I worked with in the ditch up under
the operators Excavator was OSHA safe. Potholing for operators to keep from
cutting underground utilities. The company had pumps that pumped a whole
creek around the new VMI training facility job site and I was in charge of
ensuring they were properly running. We had alarms on both pumps that would
send notifications to my cellphone, and no matter what time of the day or night I
was responsible for making sure the tanks were full of fuel, running properly,
hoses are not clogged up, no leaks in the lines, and all gages are properly
working. If any of these would go wrong and the alarm would go off I would
have to fix whatever problem it was to keep the jobsite from getting flooded.
Learned how to operate 924K Rubber Tire Loader, 953 Trak Loader, 285E Skid
Steer, 305 and 350 Excavator, and also helped with the loading of dynamite with
the blasting crew.
