Newsletter November 19-25
Hi! Here are some thoughts for the week to help you along. Thanks for a chance to chat
with most of you last week about your students.

due this Friday. The whole project
will be due on December 21. Students
can work ahead, if they wish.
However, they need to be careful to
read the instructions closely.
This Monday, I am gone on a
Professional Development Day (PD
Day). I will be updating my First Aid.
Hence there is a Teacher-On-Call
filling in for me on Wednesday.
Last week and through to Christmas,
we will be studying the novel, The
Hermit of Mad River. It is an exciting
adventure that all will enjoy. I
estimate that we will read about two
chapters a week. This week we will
be reading chapter 1-2.
Spelling Quiz for Lesson 10 on
Thursday.
This Friday is a Spirit Day. It is “Fake
Injury Day.” Take note of the fake
part please; no real injuries please

Luke is a good friend and he’s trustworthy and
also friendly( by Ayrton). Luke Fischer is a
kind and caring boy. He is fast and athletic. He
is quiet in class but loud outside. Luke is fun
(by Timothy). I think Luke is very kind. He
has a gentle heart and is very well behaved in
class. He has a great imagination and is very
calm for someone who lives in the same house with
6 kids (by Logan)! Luke is a quiet, smart boy.
I’m sure whoever is his friend would think he’s a
nice guy. I would like to get to know him better
too. I bet Luke is good at a lot of subjects like
math, social, etc. (by Jolene). Luke is very nice.
He is very good at drawing. He’s really quiet (
by Allie). Luke is a kind and fun person. He is
also a good runner. He is good at building Lego.
He is also a good friend ( by Andrew). Luke
likes to be funny. He is friendly with people and
likes to have fun ( byAvalon).
