and compliance programs.
Restructured the vineyard management of Snows Lake Vineyard to allow more focused areas of
responsibilities for key Supervisors.
Initiated a new payroll system that allowed better tracking and timely reporting of vineyard labor

Implemented a Root Collar Excavation program to address Armillaria problems.
Developed and implemented specific safety/compliance policies that have improved Snows Lake

Winegrowing Alliance in 2011.

Responsible for all vineyard operations of 3700 acres owned by Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates and
Cambria Winery in Santa Barbara County, including: developing and overseeing all vineyard cultural
operations, vineyard design and development, vineyard and capital budgeting, cost saving strategies,
permitting and compliance issues, personnel issues, public relations issues, and vineyard/land
acquisitions.
Established Kendall-Jackson’s first farming company Cal-Farms in 1990. Developed and
mentored proven vineyard management teams.
Improved both quality and production of Kendall-Jackson vineyards through improved irrigation,
trellis retrofit, canopy management, crop management, and precision farming techniques.
Designed and established 2200 acres of premium wine grape vineyards for Kendall Jackson in
Santa Barbara County.
Facilitated and worked with attorneys and Government Agencies to secure permits and waivers
for vineyard development.
Initiated design and construction of unique over-the-vine equipment, multi-function equipment
which improved efficiency and quality of mechanized vineyard operations and harvesting.
