The Petron Bataan Refinery (PBR) is the Philippines' largest integrated crude oil refinery and
petrochemicals complex. It processes crude oil into a full range of petroleum products including

also produces petrochemical feedstock.
Job Description:
 Managing all the plant maintenance activities including condition monitoring,
temperature, sound, RPM, alignment checks and equipment inspection of rotating
equipment.
 Involved in root cause analysis for the rotating equipment and reliability issues.
 Prepare new maintenance procedures and schedule long term activities as per plant
shutdown schedules.
 Fully involved in various pre-commissioning activities such as lube oil flushing, turbine,
compressor, blower, gearbox, soot blower and pump – mechanical runs and solo runs.

2.  Preventive and Predictive Maintenance program such as troubleshooting, overhauling and
repair of the plant rotating equipment.
 Prepare technical reports as required such as planning and scheduling.
 Assigns, coordinates, controls, and instructs maintenance personnel with regard to their
safe and efficient performance of duties, attendance and compliance with company
policies, directives and procedures.
 Reviews that all the required materials, consumables and tools are of the right quality and
quantity and available at all times.
 Carried out procedures for maintenance of machinery according to vendors’
specifications in coordination with planning section.
