Recently our company has upgraded our technology and given us all access to Microsoft Office. Today, we will see the importance of using PowerPoint to enhance productivity and transform the information to both the client and employee to keep them both engage and excited.
PowerPoint is an application that is created from Microsoft Office that allows you to make informative and visually pleasing presentations. Microsoft now allows you to include videos into the presentation as well. Let’s take a few minutes to watch one and see the functions and capabilities of using PowerPoint.
In the fast paced digital age that we are living in staying above technically is a key to growth. Microsoft challenges us to make the best presentation and give our data visual character while imploring the possibilities of uses. Let’s take a quick look at some of the ways, Microsoft can enhance productivity in our company with PowerPoint.
Of course, data could be just discussed. But, how much of it will the audience remember? Is it better to have your story told by the presentation or just through speaking?
Take this presentation for example. What does it show? It shows the company wanting to relate to the new hire that they are the most important person in the company and their development is a priority. The graph shows how this method continually allows their employees to excel and gain longevity in the company.
PowerPoint allows you to transform a presentation that would have been just informative or with panels and display the data. In a meeting, what is remembered is what and how something is presented –visually. What better way to show the increase in sales than to show it with charts and graphs.
How many times have we heard the “raise your hand if” line while listening to a presentation… Instead of doing that and trying to remember why not include a poll in your presentation and record the results.
Imagine having these results for more personal questions update in real time. The data can be anonymous if it is a personal question like it would be in an HR meeting or a sensitive question for a Mental Health presentation. Either way, this can remove the elephant in the room and allow open discussion about something everyone is going through without exposing anyone. What’s better? Later on you can log in to your account and review the results to make better presentations based off of your data analysis.
