2. 1. What are your personal views of the ocean? Is it something that you feel doesn’t concern
you?
Personally, I don’t feel an attachment to the ocean like some others would. I wouldn’t exactly
be excited over the idea of seeing the ocean. However, considering how important the ocean is
in the sense that it’s something that all life needs, I do care about what happens to it.
2. Are you interested in finding out about new species being discovered in the ocean?
I like knowing that there are things on this planet that we don’t know about because it keeps
the mystery alive. At the same time, I would like to know what other weird and amazing
creatures live on this planet with us and what amazing abilities they have.
3. How would you feel if I told you that a truck load of waste is being dumped into the ocean
every second?
This really shows the impact that human beings are having on the environment and natural life.
I often feel that we don’t deserve to be here because all we do is destroy everything and have
no appreciation for what we already have. Nonetheless, I am a part of this and I won’t deny
that I am part of the cause.

I love the ocean. We take it for granted given how much it provides for us. It concerns me that
the ocean is being polluted by non dissolvable waste such as plastics.

Definitely, especially in this modern age where we cannot explore the world anymore, finding
new stuff underwater is cool.
3. How would you feel if I told you that a truck load of waste is being dumped into the ocean
every second?
This makes me feel ashamed to be part of the human race.
