2. Biographical- I have chosen this
genre to be able to show the true
side too been a deaf child or adult.
3. ‘Hearing aid’ is a film based on true
story’s, it will be a short film. It is
based on one young girl called
Poppy, the film follows her life from a
young girl to a teenager getting
Maddie the hearing dog. The film
shows how her life changes after
getting her.
4. The key characters in the film are
Teenaged Poppy- deaf
Would be played by Elsie Fisher
Maddie- The hearing dog
Would be played by a unknown dog
5. I have chosen Morten Tyldum
because he is well known for
directing ‘the imitation game’ which
was a popular and well produced
film, he also directed ‘buddy’ and
‘headhunters’.
6. The target audience is young
teenagers to young adults. I have
based the target audience on the
fact that the girl is a teenager and I
have decided to design a film
trying to change the way people
think about deaf people.
7. My film is going to be set in a small
village.
8. The budget for my film would be
quite low compered to other films
because it doesn’t need many big
flash props like a lot of other genre
films. I would say the total budget
would be around 1-2 million
9. I would most likely to release my
movie in a cinema such as Odeon,
this is because it is most likely to
attract my target audience.
