  2. 2. Why is it so important? <ul><li>Teachers use audiovisual teaching daily-talking, hearing, showing students </li></ul><ul><li>Enhances learning for the audience </li></ul><ul><li>Able to zero in on the lesson at hand </li></ul>
  3. 3. Using the Internet <ul><li>Throughout the decades, the internet has become more popular. Here are a few of my favorite key features: </li></ul><ul><li>MP3- able to download, upload, store audio files </li></ul><ul><li>WAV files-converts voice through computers microphone </li></ul><ul><li>Radio- Includes several learning angles from music to the word wide news </li></ul>

Visuals Aids <ul><li>Teachers may use the following in a classroom setting: </li></ul><ul><li>bulletin boards-easy to redecorate </li></ul><ul><li>flip charts- large pads of paper that you can save for future use; able to see from a distance </li></ul><ul><li>white boards- can remove words with a wipe </li></ul><ul><li>magnetic boards- smaller boards with magnets </li></ul>
  5. 5. Equipment in my classroom <ul><li>Teaching in the year 2009 has come a long way from the 90’s. Changing over from vcr to dvd is the biggest so far in technology. </li></ul><ul><li>Broadcast videos- use some land based programs as well as satellite to make program </li></ul><ul><li>PBS (public broadcasting services)-educational programs </li></ul><ul><li>Instructional tv- from classrooms </li></ul>
  6. 6. Educational Impact as a teacher <ul><li>Looking ahead into my teaching future, I can see myself teaching the audiovisual way. By me taking into account that everyone learns in their own way, I can make learning fun in my classroom with the help of the slides we just reviewed. </li></ul><ul><li>Questions? </li></ul>
