8. Our Offer
• 5 evenings of employability workshops aimed at
unemployed and underemployed local graduates running
at our campus on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park –
we have 40 places on this – deadline 12th June
• A 100% scholarship for up to 10 unemployed or
underemployed local graduates to study a Postgraduate
degree at Loughborough University London on the Queen
Elizabeth Olympic Park – deadline 31st July

• We work with a real graduate recruiter (Gradconsult)
• Activities looking at how recruiters see candidates
• Update on the latest ways recruiters recruit

• We bring in a LinkedIN consultant
• Audit of current profile and what it says about you
• Tricks to build your profile and make you more attractive
to employers
• Ways to build and utilise your network

• Where and how to network
• Tools you can use to manage your network
• The basics of networking at events
• Test networking activity

16. Eligibility Criteria
Participants must meet the following criteria:
• Be a graduate with a minimum of a lower second class
honours degree from a UK university or equivalent
overseas qualification recognised by Loughborough
University. Participants will need to have graduated at least
6 months prior to the start of the programme
• Be currently residing in, and have previously taken GCSE
or A level qualifications whilst residing in Hackney,
Newham, Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest
• Be currently unemployed or underemployed, earning below
£570.90 per week
• Be willing to become ambassadors of the Queen Elizabeth
Olympic Park and actively give back to the local community
through Echo
