3. • Touch Typing is typing without
using the sense of sight to find the
keys.
• A touch typist will know the location
of the keys by memory.
• Practice is the best way to improve
speed and accuracy.

4. 1. Position screen to be arms length away.
2. Relax shoulders.
3. Bend elbows to be at 90 degrees.
4. Keep wrists straight.
5. Line up hips, shoulders, and ears vertically.
6. Keep the body centered at the J Key.
7. Place hips far back in the chair, bend knees at
90 degrees with feet flat on floor.

Row.
2. Keep your wrists off of the
keyboard.
3. Keep your fingers curved.
4. Strike the keys, do not press the
keys or hold them down.
