What is Creative Commons?
Creative common is a non-profit organization which helps in
providing licenses globally to individuals or groups in building, sharing
and accruing knowledge through the internet by publishing their
creative work online or from others.
Creative commons licenses are free- easy to use copyright license
which provides a simple, standardize way to give the public permission
to share and use your creative work with the choice of permissions.
2. Types of Creative Commons
Attribution
The CC license allows others who use your work in any way must give you credit,
but not in a way that suggests you endorse them or their use. If they want to use
your work without giving you credit or for endorsement purposes, they must get
your permission first.
3. ShareAlike
The CC license which allows others to
copy, distribute, display, perform, and
modify your work, as long as they
distribute any modified work on the
same terms. If they want to distribute
modified works under other terms,
must get your permission first.
Non-Derive
The CC license which allows other
people to copy, distribute your original
creative work. If they want to modify or
contribute to your work they have to
seek proper licensing permission.
4. Non-Commercial
The CC license which allows other people to copy, distribute,
display, contribute in modification and use of your work for any
purposes other and not for commercial purpose. If they wish to
use your work, they will have to seek permission or proper CC
licensing.
Attribution Non-commercial
The CC license which allows other people to use copy, distribute
your creative work for any other purposes but not for
purposes.
5. Attribution Non-commercial ShareAlike
The CC license which allows other to copy, distribute, modify or contribute
to your original work and giving you credit when used for any purposes
not for commercial purposes. If they want to use your work creative work,
proper permission must be ask.
6. Attribution NonDerive
The CC licensing which allows people to use your creative work and
giving you credit, however they are not allowed to distribute their
modification or contribution to your original work
Attribution Non-commercial – NonDerive
The CC license which allows people to use, copy, distribute your
creative work without modification or contribution to your original work
on other purposes other than commercial purposes.
