Textile Industry (i.e.) Spinning / Leather and Garment Units regarding sale of Yarn /

Manager Export + Logistics + Imports
A) 2003 – Present (13 years) Lahore in Leathertex Group
EXPORT:-
• Supervise and lead Logistics and shipping operations as HEAD OF DEPARTMENT.
• Lead Export documentation team.
• Analysis of problems and give timely solution.
• Coordination with mills regarding production and dispatch planning.
• Responsible to give update schedule to Customers regarding inspection, dispatch of
goods from mills and shipment / vessel planning and all related correspondence
independently.
• Generate of possible way to cut down cost.
• Scrutinizing of Export L/C.
• Dispatch planning as per production.
• Shipment planning as per L/C requirements and vessel schedule.
• Monitoring of dispatches, shipments & vessel schedule.
• Dealing with Banks, Clearing Agents, Shipping Lines, Transporters, Customs and
Other Govt. institutions (Chamber, Prgmea, TDAP. etc.)
• Dealing with Shipping Lines for Negotiation of ocean and with Transporters for
Local freight.
• Dealing with Airlines and freight forwarders for Negotiation of Air-freight and
booking of space for Air-Cargo.
• Dealing with Insurance Company for insurance coverage of export cargo.
• Dealing with banks for Negotiation of Export documents.
• Dealing with banks for Pre-shipment and Post-shipment Financing under State Bank
of Pakistan Re-Finance Scheme.
• Handling all the activities related to FAFB, FAPC, Export Re-finances Part-I & II etc.
• Handling the Rebate claims , SBP markup Subsidy facility & RND / Duty drawback
• Handling payment of Foreign and Local agent commission.
IMPORT
During my job in all companies mentioned here, I have hand on experience of
performing responsibilities for:
• Opening of import Letter of Credits.
• Coordination with clearing agent for clearance of import goods.
• Payment of Customs duties and taxes.
• Follow up of shipments.
• Coordination with banks for collection of shipping documents
• Coordination with Customers (Exporter)
• Coordination with shipping line for vessel arrival + delivery order etc.
• Managing transport for movement of import consignments From Karachi port to mills
site.
(B) I have been worked for three years with a leading Spinning Unit known as
Superior Textile Mills Ltd., as Deputy Marketing Manager and handle all above
stated works and supervise the documentation department and bank matters
independently from Jan. 1999 to Dec. 2001.
(C) I have been worked for six years with a leading Spinning Group known as
Kunjah Group as Asst. Manager Exports and handle all export related works of two
Spinning Mills i.e. Kunjah Textile Mills Ltd., and Malikwal Textile Mills Ltd.,
independently from Nov. 1992 to end 1998.
