Usage of word ‘attitude’ in general
 He has a very good attitude towards his work.
 He undergone a change in his attitude, and
became more cooperative.
 I like your attitude (behavior).
 A boy has a real attitude problem ( difficult to
make relationship with him or work with him).
It means favorable or unfavorable
evaluative reactions toward

someone exhibited on one’s beliefs,
feelings, or intended behavior.

• Attitude comes from the Latin word ‘aptus’
which means “fitness” or “adaptation.”

Our behavior ( attitude) changes according to our experiences with people
and events in our life.
A positive experience with a event, a attitude towards it will be positive and
vice versa.

Both formal and informal education, not just academic qualifications
influence the attitude of the person

Open-ended questions- cannot be answered with a
simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’. demands elaborate answers on their
points.
Paraphrase ; listener express the meaning of the words,
what he heard , to achieve greater clarity.
Probing questions are designed to deepen the knowledge
and understanding.
2.Empathy-
the ability to understand and feel the
mind setup and emotions of other person.
a. Empathy is the capacity to understand
or feel what another person is
experiencing from within their frame of
reference.
b. capacity to place oneself in another's
position.
sympathy is feeling sorry for someone,
while empathy is understanding their pain.
These words are related, but they are not
synonyms.
• Empathy is stronger than sympathy.
• It goes beyond feeling compassion for their loss.
• It is the ability to put yourself in the place of another and understand
someone else's feelings by identifying with them.
• Sympathy is just feeling bad for the other person,
• But showing empathy involves sharing their feelings.

 With this many emotions, it is important to know how and when
to use them.
 Even when it comes to communication, we need to know how to
use our emotions.

Why Emotions Are Important In Communication
1. It allows us to express ourselves.
2. It gives others to better understand.
3. It makes people relate.
4. It creates opportunities to be heard. The last three points all come down
to this. When you have emotions in your communication, you create opportunities for
more people to listen to you.

entertainment (cinema)
