3. Mind Map
FMP
mocumentary
Short film
trailer
A documentary that is supposed to be
underlyingly funny and based on a silly
idea
Somebody who is addicted to a food or
drink
A 5 to 10-minute film
From inside the mind of a mad person
Everything is disorientating and makes
you feel how they feel
A horror film trailer
Don't show anything scary
Use sound effects and suspence
4. Mind Map
Short
film
I would like to try and film
it all in one shot like 1917 if
possible
Try and make the viewer
feel uneasy and feel to
madness that the person in
the film has going on in
their head.
It is going to have a creepy
undertone so there is
always going to be
suspense even though
there will be nothing there
There could be another
person that is also heavily
involved in the story who is
normal, and you see the
difference in what they see
of normal things, but you
can't tell which one has the
real perception
The viewer won't be able
to tell what's real or not
and its going to make them
feel like they're going mad
too.
6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
I have repeated the idea of messing with the mind and mental illness. I
have also repeated the idea of having dark blue colour grading and
having a dark theme. I have also got images of disorientation and
dizziness; this is because I want the filming style to feel very strange a
weird to watch. I have also repeated the set of 1917 because I want to
have everything filmed with the least amount of camera angles as
possible
How will your mood board influence your final product?
I will keep looking back at it so I can follow the original idea for the
product so that I don't go too off track. It can also remind me visually
of what style I am going for.
