behaviors, attitudes, values, morals, customs and perspectives
shared by groups of people in society.

- Society is filled with matters and issues of varied cultures.
- Urban evangelism calls individuals to understand,
communicate and influence culture.

Involves evangelism, the commitment to or act of sharing and
spreading the message and teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
through the act of personal witness, public preaching/teaching
Targets the urban scene, its growth and movement of city populations,
the problems of city life (crime, poverty, congestion, pollution, noise,
racial polarity, marginalization, migration, housing),
Never negates its Christian mission, especially to the poor and to
neighborhoods.
Adopts a model of urban church planting with evangelism as the
primary focus and not church discipleship or membership.
