Experience
Integrated Fabrication Laboratory, Undergraduate Researcher 06/20-present
● Conducting research with Professor Corie L. Cobb on additive
manufacturing of novel Lithium-ion battery architectures. Creating a
printhead similar to that of a 3-D printer printhead in a computer-aided
design software that is used to fabricate 3-D battery electrodes.
Researched different mechanisms for the movement of the printhead
ensuring its stability. Applied finite element analysis to maximize strength
of parts while reducing weight and cost of material
Washington Hyperloop, Braking Engineer 08/20-present
● Fully responsible for the design, manufacturing, analysis, and integration of
the bracket that mounts our hydraulic braking system to the chassis of our
Hyperloop pod. Utilizing Solidworks for the design and FEA of the bracket.
Advanced Robotics at the University of Washington, Mechanical Design Team
01/20 - 07/20
● Revitalized our utility robot to function with pneumatic arms after being
damaged during competition the year before. Created original brackets
and attachments for the cover of our fully-autonomous turret, considering
stresses that may occur and engineering them accordingly. Researched
and evaluated multiple fasteners to be used on all our robots. Critiqued
others CAD parts for optimization and eventual implementation into
machined or 3D printed parts.
University of Washington, Math tutor 10/19 - 12/19
● Helped a variety of university students with their math courses, ranging
from the calculus series to differential equations, and linear algebra
● Managed three rooms by circulating and helping students in each of them
while practicing inclusion so everyone can be assisted and explained
course material when needed
● Helped 10-15 students every hour on Fridays before midterms and exams
for their classes
