Projects: Development of a Novel Snow Shovel (Team of 3) Spring 2017
- Personal responsibilities include creating a Working 2D Model to simulate body loading
as a result of shoveling. Experimental testing will be conducted to compare to the simulation
results.
- Structural and thermal (finite element) analysis will be conducted and compared between the
ordinary straight handle shoveland the shovelwith the adaptor.
Electro-Flex (Extendable and Retractable Power Strip) Fall 2016
- Worked in a team of 6, 3 marketing students and 3 engineers, to develop, design, create and
market a new product which was presented in a showcase to investors.
- Personally delivered a 90 second pitch to entrepreneurs, CEO’s, and faculty. Received first
place for the pitch based on content,delivery, and the answers to questions post pitch.
- Currently filing for a provisional patent.
Power Plant Design (Team of 4) Spring 2016
- Created a power plant by designing the plant cycle and determining each component
(turbines, compressors,etc.) within based on the efficiency needed while evaluating the cost.
- Analyzed profit margins to determine the price to sell to the customers.
- Pitched the power plant to the consumers who chose which power plant they wanted.

Consulting Intern Summer 2016
- Worked within the Power Engineering Service Line to assist on projects by automating excel
spreadsheets to create deliverables, writing memorandums, research, creating drawings in
AutoCAD and writing MATLAB programs.
- Interacted with clients on numerous site visits where I assisted on energy audits and/or
predevelopment design work.

- Assisted a professorin teaching a seminar class to freshman engineers. Went through training
to build relationship with the students as well as graded their assignments,presented lectures,

- Graded homework assignments for eighty plus students,taught multiple classes when the
professorwas at conferences,and held review sessions forthe students.

and students along with conducting one on one sessions with students to help them with their
transition to college.
