● Take index card work as a class to determine the order in
which each note card would be placed on a number line. Form
a line in numerical order as a whole group to show your
answers.
4. Class Activity Result Discussion
● By performing the arrangement of index cards in order, we are
able to practice placing numbers smaller to larger. Therefore
this bring us to our topic today also known as greater than and
less than.

● Today will we talk about greater than, less than and equal to
a number.
● Let’s go over some vocabulary
Greater than- a number larger than another
Less than- a number smaller than another
Equal to- both numbers are of the same value

● Write one sentence using numbers, greater than less than or equal
to vocabulary words to make the sentence true about the two
comparison of numbers. (Ex. 3 is equal to 3)
