The document describes a student project to build an EM Drive, a proposed revolutionary propellant-less spacecraft thruster. The objectives are to remove the need for reaction mass and reduce pollution and spacecraft mass. It will outline the principle of operation, required components including a magnetron, microwave cavity and waveguide. It will also discuss the CAD drawings, circuit diagram, materials required and a 47 day work schedule to build and test the device using COMSOL simulation software. The conclusion is that results show a Q-factor of 50,000 and thrust of 2mN/kW, demonstrating potential applications for spacecraft propulsion.

INTRODUCTION
• The EM Drive has been proposed as a revolutionary
propellant less thruster using a resonating microwave
cavity.
• It works on the difference in radiation pressure due to
the geometry of its tapered resonance cavity.

CONCLUSION
• The results of NASA's tests on the 'impossible' EM Drive have
been leaked, and they reveal that the controversial propulsion
system really does work, and is capable of generating impressive
thrust in a vacuum, even after error measurements have been
accounted for.
• EM Drive works without any fuel or propellants at all. It works
by simply bouncing microwave photons back and forth inside a
cone-shaped closed metal cavity.
