Addressing the leaders of 11 students unions aligned to various political parties, Nembang said
that he was glad that students were taking strong initiative for constitution writing and its
promulgation.
The students union leaders had called on Nembang to draw his attention to constitution drafting.
Nembang expressed his commitment that he would play the role of a facilitator to help the
parties complete writing constitution by January 22.
He also urged the student leaders to hold discussions with the leaders of their respective mother
parties and convince them to come to consensus in the broader national interest.
Meanwhile, UP Lamichhane, Spokesperson, Nepal Students Union, which is aligned to the
Nepali Congress, said that the students unions would also draw the attention of the prime
minister and leaders of political parties to delay in the constitution writing process.
